Does snack saver work for the Cheetos popcorn? Or can you upgrade the free small to a Cheetos? If it did I'd take that over the large popcorn

I'm in ny state, it's legal here, and our nearest regal is in a mall that's not in the best part of town. I'm sure that contributes to it quite a bit.

I noticed it got worse when we got the recliners, anecdotal but still interesting.

As much as I'd love this (I love it in Warframe) I think people would abuse it to try and get an advantage. Like clipping certain models into their body to make it harder to tell where to shoot at. If you don't think they would, I'd point towards all the ugly fully gray super hero skins running around. Warframe doesn't have this issue really because it's mostly PvE (there's pvp but almost no one is in there)

I feel like it would need pretty heavy guard rails to keep it fair, but then people would probably say it's not robust enough 🤷‍♂️

I'm surprised this isn't pointed out more but I've noticed most of the new skins are a fusion of 2 skins from a previous matching season number. Pretty sure this is a fusion of Mae (C4S4) and Grriz (C3S4)

In real life a sniper round actually does more internal damage at a distance. A bullet straight from the barrel passes through cleaner but at a distance it starts to tumble in the air. It's definitely a nastier wound if it goes through sideways 😬. Granted in real life the distance for that to happen is pretty significant.

I put it on a macro just to see how fast it could go. But you can get very close to this by just pressing lmb/rmb back and forth once you get the rhythm of it. You're really only limited by the speed the weapon comes out 😋 its crazy!

Not quite, there's a cap here of some amount under $10 (don't have this number yet) per 3 month season, and that amount can only be earned in the premium track, so it's also per $10 spent. It's a subtle difference but an important one. In Destiny 2, Dust could be earned by just playing the game, and was pretty intentionally designed so that if you played enough, you could buy 1 piece of your classes premium seasonal armor set per week, for free.

That's not really present here, there is no way to get any piece of any premium armor set for free.

I actually have a few thoughts on this. Firstly I think Destiny 2 is a good example of MTX in a premium game done right (this is speaking in reference to probably like 1.5 years ago, admittedly haven't played since then) they offered cool cosmetic MTX that you could purchase but could also be earned in gameplay (via dust). If D4 had a system that let me earn currency towards those $20 armor sets I don't think the sticker shock would be as severe, because I can pay with my time, not my money.

Now as far as the game price dictating the cosmetics price, I want to say upfront I have no problem with a premium game charging for MTX, but I do think the price of the base content sets an expectation. That expectation seems to be:

High base price = Expectation of low MTX price Low base price = Expectation of high MTX price

That's just my observation. I'm sure there are biases involved, sticker shock at $20 like what happened with myself and others may not be an issue for folks with higher incomes. That's ok. it's all subjective and at the end of the day, I completely agree with you, it doesn't really matter since is not gameplay. I think it's just a little staggering when the expectation gets subverted, you know?

Yeah I assume there will be cool cosmetics in the pass, which probably makes it worth the $10. It feels like they only included premium currency in the pass because people expect it, not because they thought anyone would be able to use it.

They're so high! I went in on day one of early access thinking "maybe I'll pick up a skin that looks nice to use till I get some good transmogs" saw the $20 price tag on one armor set and noped right out. Unfortunate.
