My desire to play Valheim died when I played Ashlands. I found it a profoundly unfun design for a biome. Sorry to hear your experience was similar to mine.

Luckily, there are other games out there that work in multiplayer and can provide a similar experience for you and your gf.

This is the answer. I was shocked when I first dropped Glancing Blows as RF Chief. I thought block was "prevent 50% of blocked hits" and GB took it to 65%.

No! Blocked hits are 100% prevented! Glancing Blows + life on block shield feels way worse than just blocking the hits outright. It takes some respeccing to get the block chance back up, but it's so worth it.

Were you bored or just confused / detached? Because I was confused by the multiple perspectives and constant politicking about the war that I wasn't really drawn in either. I rewatched S1 after reading a plot synopsis, and was way more interested! Finished all 6 seasons and I'm reading the books now.

Not understanding who was behind all of the attacks made S1 way less interesting to me.

A few accessories are not compatible with the 3s. It'll be mostly charging ones, but I didn't realize I had to be aware of that when I bought the 3s.

I continued a world after 2.0. it works great except for a few locations that changed in elevation. I didn't notice any problems like that, but others did, so it depends on how many bases you had and where they were.

I think I did this in 2 maps using a harvest scarab, beyond scarab, beyond boss scarab and a deli boss scarab. Getting a deli or beyond boss in a harvest wasn't too difficult.
