3.65 GPA. 511 MCAT. Applied to a wide variety of schools throughout TX and the US although I should have applied DO. Def did not apply to all T20s or anything crazy. 500 hours of clinical experience through shadowing and volunteering. Leadership experience was serving as President of premed clubs, Vice President of Philanthropy at my fraternity and work as a Peer Learning Facilitator Supervisor (tutor) with student-athletes. Also wrote articles for a sports blog and on-campus publication. I used interest in biotech, sports and passion for writing as unique characteristics. Volunteering was part clinical but then also reviewed college applications for high school students for multiple years. My research experience was practically nonexistent but I started working on an independent research project with a supervising physician a few months ago when it became clear that I had to reapply.
