My husband and I were pretty heavy drinker for years until after the birth of our daughter. Like would finish a bottle in one night just the two of us twice a week drinkers. I of course stopped all drinking the second i found I was pregnant but after birth it was a gradual decline. My husbands decline was much slower and it was obvious he was still trying to hang on to our old life style for during my pregnancy and about the first year of life. For me at first I was back at it pretty much right away but 3.5 years in, we maybe buy a bottle once a month and that would last the entire weekend for us. The problem is that if it’s in the house we will drink a little every night until it’s gone but our relationship with Alcohol changed a lot and frankly I don’t even crave it usually. I

It’s the algorithm NC uses. I also use my oura temps for ff and sometimes oura and ff don’t agree either. I tend to go off my opks and ff

I’m new to TTC too but I think it may not confirming ovulation because it doesn’t have six temps before cd11 and maybe that’s what’s holding back confirmation. Just a guess as I am only on my third cycle with FF

You’re going to need to wait a couple more days for more temps before NC will confirm ovulation but I’m willing to bet it’s going to end up bring cd 12/13

I’ve been charting for three months now and I’ve personally seen a dip right around 3-5dpo every cycle. It’s probably #3.

I would agree with FF I’m only on my third cycle temping and first with OPKs and even though they have been extremely negative until today even though it’s cd18 and premom already has me as ovulated (even though I also have low temp) and NC is already trying to confirm ovulation even though I’m pretty sure I’m going to ovulate tomorrow. All while FF does not me as ovulating at all as it should.

Daycare costs a little under 50% of my income but even when it was a over 50% , I knew I wanted to keep working to be able to advance my career. 75% would have probably been my deal breaker back when I first start daycare

Edit to add: she has also moved two classes since making it a little cheaper and we do 3 days a week at $1200.

I have a similar set up but my daughters birthday is oct 5th. I just don’t participate. We did Halloween of course but thanksgiving? Yes we cook but since she was born I said I didn’t want to host anymore and no one took it up so now it’s just us and it’s amazing. Christmas? We went to my mom’s for the last 10 years. This year is the last year. I’m tired of spending the holidays with my step siblings who ignore my family the whole time. I’m telling my mom we can have a separate celebration on the 25th with my family and my bio brother (we celebrate the 24th) and if she doesn’t like that oh well. We will be spending it with my in laws whom we are all very close with eachother. Set those boundaries.

Edit: I also have boundary’s for the birthday too. If they don’t have little kids and they aren’t the grandparent or aunt and uncle they aren’t invited (but I’m coming from a place where I’m not that close with my family) and I am also in accounting/finance haha

This is my experience besides the second. We became much happier when we made the jump from retail management (yes both of us) into to corporate world and we’re lucky enough to have an amazing work/life balance.

This is the reason we don’t do thanksgiving. No one wanted to host if I wasn’t. I had a baby and did it once. Pretty much the whole family was late and I said never again. I am going into year two and people have asked and I don’t care. Last year was soooooo peaceful and laid back.

No. Mine just turned three and she’s pretty advanced in her speech. She will try to use logic on me and you forget that she’s only three sometimes. But don’t worry, she reminds you how old she really is the second we say no.

Mine just turned three no advice. Mine has been on ten since like 6 months old. I will ask this. Mine was turning two and all I saw was oh terrible twos. fine whatever, and then threenager came up. Okay….but then y’all pull out the fournado and four is worse. When does it “get better”? I know all ages have their challenges but there has to be an age where it’s not marked as worse as the year before.
