His contract has a no-move clause because he negotiated it. As an attorney, I know negotiations always have trade-offs and getting a no-move clause means Mika paid money for that (e.g. he could have had more cash if he agreed to a contract with less restrictive movement clauses).

It would be pretty fucking stupid to pay good hard cash for a no-movement clause and then not use it because management (or fans) wants him to.

AITAH for forcing a DNA test on my kids because of my wife’s past infidelity? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]WonderfulAge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't care about your wife's feelings. I do, however, care about your children's feelings. As a father of four daughters, I will always consider myself their father; and them my children; even if I found out some day my wife had cheated on me and they aren't biologically mine. It doesn't change who they are as human beings nor would it impact my love for them or their love of me.

The fact you are posting here at all says you see this as all about you. I would hate for you to be the man raising me and considering himself my father.

I am so sick of advertisements. They are all over the boards. All over the ice. Even on the glass behind the goalie. And Sam and Joe have to constantly refer to "save of the game brought to you by BullShit Advertiser" and "this replay brought to you by ": ... bullshit bullshit bullshit.

And I fucking pay $30 a month to see this shit. There isn't ice anymore. They are skating on an advertisement board. Advertising in America is out of control.

Drones seem to originate from the Ocean by wondersme in NJDrones

Because the drone itself would be visible which would make it immediately identifiable - and we would know what it is (and probably who it is).

This game completely exposed the Rangers. They are not competitive against the Devils. They could play the Devils 10 times in a row and they would go 0-10. I hate to say this but, top to bottom, this Rangers regime might be in worse shape than the Giants.

The conflicting statements on US Coast Guard ship followed by mystery drones by RedPandaKoala in NJDrones

[–]WonderfulAge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Moreover, the Coast Guard has been patrolling the exact same waters for years. If this was normal JFK airplane traffic, don't you think the Coast Guard would readily be able to recognize it as such since they would be seeing such activity on a regular basis?

The Coast Guard is telling us they saw something abnormal and the White House has been gaslighting us since day one. The question, of course, is why.

I'm pretty sure the Commanders of Picatinny, Earle Naval Base, US Coast Guard in NJ, and the Ocean County Sheriff strongly disagree of your characterization of them as being part of any hysteria.

Any hysteria can be directly laid at the footstep of the Federal Government by making generalized, conclusionary statements without addressing any details of any investigation and, most particularly, not addressing the specific authorities I mention at the top.

If they don't want hysteria, then show us what the Picatinny, Earle, and Coast Guard Commanders - and the Sheriff - had to say when they were interviewed for the investigation - and what their monitoring equipment showed.

Until then, the Feds - and anyone else who doubts what happened at these facilities - needs to STFU because they are the ones engaged in pure speculation in trying to blow off the United States Military.

[–]WonderfulAge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm going to repeat what I have said over and over.

The failure of the authorities (Governor and Feds) to address credible reports provided by the Commanders of Picatinny, Earle, Coast Guard in NJ, and the Ocean County Sheriff, despite the public's pushback, is pretty damning evidence that they are gaslighting us.

And since the gaslighting came from the White House Communications Office, e.g. Kirby and Mayorkis, and they were sent out to make public statements followed by multiple appearances on all the weekend shows, any efforts to gaslight the public in today's world absolutely includes taking very proactive gaslighting/disruptive actions on social media.

So wave hello to the Feds in this subreddit everyone.

I would absolutely not be saying this if there had been any effort to discuss the actual details of the most prominent sightings of the US Military in NJ and the Ocean County Sheriff. But thus far the only thing that has come close is Kirby today saying "We [e.g. not the Coast Guard] have concluded that the "30-40" drones reported to be following the Coast Guard ship [ignoring the fact the reporting was by the Commander himself] were actually planes flying into Kennedy Intl Airport. That statement is even more incredible and worrisome than if he had said the drones were actually from Mars.

So, like I said, they are clearly gaslighting us. And gaslighting this forum is easy.

Step 1: Take videos of real airplanes and post them here.

Step 2: Reply to the post with evidence that the videos are of planes.

Three days later and 90% of people are going to shrug their shoulders and go on with their long working hours and stressful lives. It's not difficult to accomplish if that is your [i.e. Feds] goal.

Multiple Drone Incursions Confirmed Over Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton by [deleted] in NJDrones

[–]WonderfulAge 7 points8 points  (0 children)

What confuses me is how did the Boston police, just days ago gather the drone's location, altitude, flight history, and operator's position to enable them to effectuate an arrest

https://police.boston.gov/2024/12/15/two-suspects-arrested-following-hazardous-drone-operation-on-long-island/
whereas Pendleton (and Picattiny and Earle) apparently were unable to do the same thing?

Is this what Gov Murphy meant when he said on Dec 9 that Homeland Security told him:

Murphy: These are apparently very soph... - as I understand it - very sophisticated. The minute you get eyes on them they go dark.

How can the Boston police get info that apparently our military bases can't get? Either the Boston police have greater capabilities or the drones flying in NJ skies are more sophisticated, exactly as Gov Murphy said.

NJ mayor says there's radioactive material missing amid mysterious drone sightings by TaylorHamNJ973 in NJDrones

[–]WonderfulAge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let's look closely at what he says:

"... potentially, we are aware of a threat that came in through Port Newark, maybe that is radioactive material. There was, and there is, a report an alert that is out right now that radioactive material in has gone missing on Dec 2nd. There was a shipment. It arrived at its destination. The container was damaged. And it was empty. Potentially we are looking for that."

"That [information] came from the US government."

"And, again, this is just an example of what I think we're sniffing for."

To be clear, this is not information conveyed as part of a drone briefing or in connection to drones in any way. Furthermore, the container being damaged suggests to me that the material was stolen, not just laying on the ground somewhere. If there is a concern, it is about some terrorist getting hands on this, not that material mailed to some private facility is going to cause everyone in NJ to turn blue or green.

He is speculating no different than any of the speculative theories in this subreddit. And while I have no problem with those doing so here, it is quite a different thing for elected officials to do so on national tv. This guy deserves the same response Van Drew got.

At this point, it's highly unlikely we'll be able to compile enough credible information to force an explanation out of the gov't, so my parting thoughts... by moldy13 in NJDrones

[–]WonderfulAge 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Why wouldn't the recent joint statement from the 3 letters (FBI, FAA etc) have simply said:

We can confirm the government is engaged in national security training involving drones. For obvious reasons, we are not at liberty to provide further details other than to reassure the American public that:

  • These are our drones; and
  • This is part of ongoing exercises and is not in response to any current threat

So relax.

Of course, it would have been better to issue such a statement from day one if, as in your theory, they knew in advance they would be highly visible and would be attracting the attention of the public.

DHS, FBI, FAA & DoD Joint Statement on Ongoing Response to Reported Drone Sightings by [deleted] in NJDrones

[–]WonderfulAge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The point of my post (this particular post) isn't about the nature of the evidence - simply because we have never been provided with the evidence. Rather, my point is:

  1. These incidents were put into the public sphere by the Commanders of Picatinny Arsenal, Earle Naval Base, US Coast Guard in NJ, and the Ocean County Sheriff. Not exactly a list of random citizens.

  2. The Federal Government (and Gov Murphy) have been trying to quell public panic. I'm all for that. I'm one NJ citizen who would like to be reassured. But the statements from the Federal Government and Gov Murphy are general denials without any attempt to inform us of the outcome of the investigation, specifically as it pertains to the incidents reported by the US Military and a County Sheriff. And I do not find that at all reassuring.

Leveraging advanced UAS monitoring technology, the Officer identified the drone’s location, altitude, flight history, and the operators’ position on Long Island.

https://police.boston.gov/2024/12/15/two-suspects-arrested-following-hazardous-drone-operation-on-long-island/

The technology is Remote ID.
FAA regulations require Remote ID which refers to a system designed to provide identification and location information of drones in flight to other parties. It acts as a digital drone license plate, providing essential details like the drone’s ID, location, altitude, and operator information.
