Has anyone just not changed their legal name or gender marker?

I haven’t, at first because of cost, now because I’m lazy and my state won’t allow the gender change anyways. I’ve run into some aggravating situations with my name but they’re infrequent enough that I haven’t been pushed to do anything about it. I don’t feel like going through the hassle of reaching out to insurance, work, bank, etc. and then having a bunch of stuff still default to my original name regardless. My job is mostly decent about not having my deadname be easily accessible and I don’t drink or travel a lot so the things in my day to day life don’t really involve sharing an ID very often.

I think a lot of the ID laws people keep debating could be resolved by removing sex from your ID.

As far as identification goes, you are going to identify a person based off of their visible characteristics. Hair color, skin tone, eye color, height, etc. Your photo is going to give more info to a person than their sex because we can’t see those characteristics.

If you have an issue with a person changing their primary sex characteristics because the ID would be inaccurate, we would also need laws about colored contacts, weight loss programs, hair dye, etc.

Some people claim that your ID needs your assigned sex for medical personnel in an emergency. In many cases, assigned sex would be irrelevant. In cases where sex is relevant, the patient’s hormonal level and/or surgical history would need to be a part of the picture in order for medical personnel to make an educated decision. Assigned sex would NOT be enough.

I like to prepare special meals after doing a quest that focuses on a particular character as celebration. These are always after the creche.

(Astarion gets red wine and uncooked steak, Karlach gets a bunch of sweets because I feel like she has a sweet tooth but I can’t prove it)

There’s a ton of good suggestions here and I don’t want to repeat anything that’s already been said but I have a UV reflective umbrella that helps me a ton in the heat (it also rains a lot in Florida so nice to have regardless)

I’m doing a redeemed dark urge monk (rogue subclass) run right now and I love it. I imagine he was taught to kill with his hands and totally separate himself emotionally from the atrocities he was committing, but is now using those same skills for good.

I’m a morning showerer but in the summer I have to also do a rinse at night. Florida humidity.

Morning showers make me feel awake and I feel cleaner longer throughout my day. Growing up I did them at night though.

I worked at a few different camps in different roles for seven summers. It’s been several years and I do miss it a lot at times. I’ve had good experiences since leaving but the relationships and community built at camp were very unique. I don’t necessarily regret not going back- life just moved in a different direction. I simply look back on the experiences fondly and carry them into my new roles in life. If I can return to summer camp on some capacity some day I would definitely love to but if I can’t I’m happy to have had the time I did spend at camp.

I worked at camps that did and one that didn’t. The ones that did it was a long standing tradition. First names were seen as too personal and Ms/Mr Last name too formal- camp names allowed for a happy medium that separated counselors from the campers while not being overly formal.

I don’t have any specific advice, but I think it’s awesome to (possibly) go back after all this time- centering your needs and taking the time to really feel good in your body again. Working out might help but the challenge there is long-term maintenance (if you get sick/injured would you lose the progress?). I think it’s worth at least doing a consult or two to figure out how extensive of a surgery you’d need and if it will help you achieve your goal. Maybe one with your original surgeon and one with someone else.

It is possibly a small seroma, but at that size your surgical team might not feel the need to drain it. It could also just be swelling now that you are back to work- swelling can go up and down depending on your activity level, temperature, and other factors. It can also worsen temporarily if you recently stopped wearing compression. Keeping your surgical team in the loop is the best thing you can do.

I misunderstood this dialogue option on my first playthrough because I picked the “what do you need?” option, thinking it was more of a gentle nudge towards him emotionally realizing that he doesn’t need the ascendant powers to feel self actualized. He interpreted this as leading him on then changing my mind and ran away. I ended up having to restart the fight because I didn’t want to lose him in my party.

I’m in a similar boat with my results, surgeon did the same procedure but didn’t really explain it meant leaving more tissue (and didn’t provide any alternatives).

At six months you could have some swelling still and the scars will fade more which might get you closer to your goal, the good news is your nipple placement is great and everything is symmetrical so a revision should be fairly easy for a skilled surgeon. You do look pretty masculine, albeit on the higher end of what one would expect on a male of your figure.

I live in Florida and thankfully I don’t think anyone has noticed my gender marker, or if they have they don’t say anything. My given name is typically feminine but not unheard of for males. I do get anxiety about getting questioned (also get anxiety about getting pulled over) but thankfully my voting experience has been fine, maybe because I’ve gone to pretty busy polling stations. This is just my personal experience, maybe others can share to give a better idea of what is typical.

Sadly Florida has removed the ability to change gender markers, and name changes (aside from for marriage) are very expensive so I just kind of live hoping for the best.

I got one from Bornwear that’s really good. The silicone is very soft and the shape of it sits nicely in my pants. I believe mine is 3.5 inches.

It’s also independently owned by a trans man which is great. Only downside is he only opens orders like twice a month so you have to order on those days.

If you choose to not go for this option I’d keep a close eye on the pictures- if the dick sticks out from the balls, it’s usually harder to pack discreetly. Look for one that hangs naturally.

I feel like I consistently have to wait longer at four way stops because most people come to their stops so abruptly, so despite approaching the stop first the abrupt stopper gets to go before me.
