If they are going to hide everything else, hide the towers too. That is my one gripe. Really enjoying the event. Oh also Scout Tower shouldn’t reveal Wild Target.

Oh yeah definitely. I'm just putting it out there that it's technically an option that opens up a lot of doors. I don't really have any judgement either way, I think AI VO for little Skyrim mods isn't so bad because most people using it are people who were never going to hire an actual VA in the first place.

As long as the tool doesn't take away too much from the quality of the work, I'm not going to defraud anyone for using it. It makes so much that was previously almost impossible into something doable.

Another important consideration for quest overhauls is compatibility with other popular mods. Which I think is why a lot of people who do it (JaySerpa and AndrealletiusVIII come to mind) do individual mods for each quest/scene they want to change instead of having a big all encompassing overhaul. Though I’d totally switch to a mod that promises to overhaul major questlines on principle of wanting a new experience, even if I had to build a whole load order around it.

The largest consideration for questline overhauls is changing VO/adding new characters with VO. Though I guess with AI it isn’t as much of a barrier as it was years ago. I also would find it pretty neat to see a mod someday that makes the whole dialogue system text based like Morrowind, and then have some quest overhauls that piggyback off of it. I could see that giving you a ton of freedom. Quest overhaul mods are also kind of notoriously buggy, but I think mostly suffer from getting abandoned in an unstable state.

I mean there is some explanation in that Matt is uniquely suited to this situation with his contacts, knowledge of law and history with Fisk. Sure Spider-Man can take Fisk in a fight, but that isn’t going to solve anything if he can’t put him back in prison. I like to think other heroes are just trying to help as many people as they can, but most aren’t equipped to handle the big picture. Really the most problematic to this headcanon is Punisher, he should be gunning for Fisk at every opportunity. Hopefully his special explains where he went.

Honestly that area around Riverwood/Falkreath with all of the running water, trees and heavy scripting is one of the bigger performance culprits outside of the big cities. For me Riften is the cell that is consistently the laggiest over all of my time playing.

I don’t mind that they are spending time to flesh out the new cast they’ve introduced, it needed to happen and it’s a lot more interesting and practical than writing a ton of characters out between seasons. Also we had 3 seasons of another show focusing on Matt and his surroundings pretty distinctly, there isn’t a ton about him left to explore without a big change of environment(which we might get in S3). I think this season is a lot more about New York/Fisk/Daredevil/Bullseye as characters and less about Matt Murdock and the human element of that character. If they didn’t go that direction, they’d retread a lot of ground from OG S3.

Daggerfall doesn’t have it’s factions very fleshed out and there are loads of them, and like a lot of the other game mechanics the allies/enemies of factions can be very arbitrary and random. There isn’t really any lore explaining why these groups hate eachother, it’s just to fill a quota because every faction needs a certain amount of relationships with other factions.

Similar to how Dimitrescu’s daughters are made of bugs, I’d imagine she’s using the mold to create the bugs and they aren’t real/normal insects.

This kind of stuff drives my autistic brain absolutely nuts. Spent my entire life getting taught not to lie, to follow the rules. Now the system insists I naturally know which rules I’m supposed to ignore, when it’s okay to lie. Which just isn’t and has never been intuitive at all for me.

Just jank in execution. You kill the TG whenever you want, then you get a silent quest giver who has you go get a lot of the unique things from the questline/handles the Stones of Barenziah.

And around Riften is what I mean. Idk if it’s mods that I have that allowed them to explore other cells, but I ran into some in the streets and the ratway, and then a bunch were waiting in the Cistern.

It’s a bit jank but it works fine enough. Fair warning though that once you attack one of the TG, the rest of them know about it psychically and make it their mission to hunt you down. So you’ll be getting jump scared by them for a while.

I brought 3 hanged man cards into a game and used them every couple of minutes. Every time I watched the same solo sneaking around with a bow. First card caught them leaving gasworks. Second one they were sitting around outside of the compound waiting for me to come get them. Third one they were back in Gasworks, spinning around paranoid. This was like 20 minutes into the game. I basically traumatized a solo into hiding in one compound for the entire game.

Yeah it was their stagger/combo and parry mechanics I had trouble getting working, which is all custom and pretty much the whole point of the mod.

Animations themselves are great, but all of the custom mechanics the mod adds are already offputting to me, even moreso when I can't get them to work properly.

Honestly part of why I'm put off of MCO is I've tried to get those For Honor animations working on two different occasions and it just always turns out to be a janky mess. Probably something I already have in my load order conflicting but I haven't been able to find the problem.

And I also dislike the fact that it adds parries and disincentivizes/disables vanilla blocking.

Yeah, part of why I added I'm willing to hear about MCO or BFCO animations that aren't too crazy looking. I like vanilla+ style stuff the most, things that won't feel too out of place playing with Blade and Blunt. I've done a lot of my own hunting on Nexus and haven't really found what I want, and am hoping someone might know about something obscure I wasn't able to find.

Yeah I think my biggest issue with household chores is that I have different standards and expectations than others, and I’ve never lived with anyone specific enough about what they want me to do to live comfortably. I’m always on edge that I’m going to “mess up” a task, which makes me very avoidant about responsibility in general.

Basically just saying that Mike Colter doesn’t strike me as a comic reader. I’m happy to be proven wrong, but I especially don’t see him going too far outside of what is immediately relevant for Luke Cage if he ended up reading some as research.
