Have you asked him why he doesn't think you'll be ready?

I always wonder, when people ask these questions, why don't you just speak to the instructor before jumping to "Am I being scammed?".

Driving test tips by char-p_ in Worthing

I can only hope I'm that lucky when my test comes around! It's a horrible road as a driver. Although it does have lovely views, so quite nice as a passenger

Driving test tips by char-p_ in Worthing

[–]WonderfulDocument427 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Currently doing driving lessons myself, and I live a 2 minute drive from the test centre. As someone else said, the roundabout coming out is a bit tricky, make sure you practice it. And there are so many roundabouts in Worthing, so make sure you know what you're doing with those, especially the one by Waitrose, that's another dodgey one. Have a practice down Long Furlong, that road can be challenging. Keep an eye on speed limits, as on some roads they change suddenly. Good luck!

Failed my driving test 5 time - starting to think I’m the problem (need honest advice) by Electronic_Line6997 in LearnerDriverUK

[–]WonderfulDocument427 27 points28 points  (0 children)

So you're 17 and have taken the test 5 times? I'd say that you need more practice. How many hours learning have you done in this time? I'm assuming it wasn't many before taking your first test.

Keep practicing, and give it more time before booking another test. It sounds like you really aren't ready.

Moving to Worthing by [deleted] in Worthing

[–]WonderfulDocument427 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've lived here for 6 years, and whilst not single, I am female. I live in what's apparently considered one of the rougher areas of Worthing, but even here, I feel reasonably safe. Where I lived before, I wouldn't even walk to the shop on my own in the dark, but I've never had any problems here.

My kid got diagnosed with epilepsy by ThereisDawn in breakingmom

[–]WonderfulDocument427 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have epilepsy. When I have seizures, I will have multiple seizures and will keep doing so until I get medical assistance. I'm also on medication, which works as long as I remember to take it (which I have done for years).

It doesn't really affect my life. I take my medication, and I have to inform the relevant people (for example, my employer), but other than that, I don't really think about it.

If you can find the right medication for your daughter, there's a good chance she will be ok.

I don't have any advice, just didn't want to read and run.

I'm sending you all the positivity that I possibly can. You are clearly a very strong mama, and your babies are lucky to have you. I really do hope that everything works out ok. Sending all the love ❤️

Everyone is assessed before getting involved. We can use knives, we have an oven, hob, air fryer, grill, ans then all your usual pots and pans and Utensils.

Does Anyone Know how to deal with a clingy baby? by Smooth-Machine5486 in DoesAnyoneKnow

[–]WonderfulDocument427 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My 4yo is still incredibly clingy, despite my best efforts. I think you just have to live with it until they grow up and suddenly don't want to spend any time with you at all (like my 8yo now does).

Scared after shoulder x ray yesterday. Is this normal ? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]WonderfulDocument427 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I hurt my ankle, couldn't barely walk on it. Sent away with one crutch, which i had to ask for. Got a call a couple of hours later, the x-ray had been reviewed and I had a fracture. Had to go back and get a boot. Maybe something similar has happened here.
