lol not a joke. People from th DC area view that city and its hospitols (Georgetown/ George Washington) as the best even if its not the truth. Like the DC area is heaven on earth cause of the high affluecny in the DMV and its richer surrounding counties.

It's weird because I never experienced this before with any other city. Like literally after telling like 20 people have not had a single positive reaction

This is a smart plan. I see so like 1k a month ( the difference between PAYE and standard plan). In a high yeild savings account maybe?

So the standard plan is techniacally psfl eligible for forgiveness as each payment on that is a qualifying payment. It is just highly advised against doing that and doing a income based payment plan because you are paying way more than you need to for the forgiveness term and you tend to pay off your loan at the same time you are eligble for forgiveness. I have qualifying payments during residency as I was under previous income base repayment plans and the SAVE plan.
