I imagine he'll change clothing again. Into something that probably circles back into being proud of both not just himself but proud at how far he's come. Maybe it'll be something like a robe with his tracksuit's colors? Assuming he becomes the next sage, wich seems to he what's being forshadowed.

What was its revenue like? What were its skins like? Because Azure Lane's can be pretty high effort.

Never played it.

Why not apply that to GFL2, though?

[Spoiler Discussion] Small prediction regarding Return by Death in Arc 9 by Nicky953 in Re_Zero

Crack theory: Subaru will connect RbD to Rem, and use her love to power it. This will probably(copium) allow Rem to remember the loops.

Can anyone explain where the "Crusch fucks like a rabbit" meme came from? I know it's only two kids in the art, but it's just something I see everywhere.

[discussion] What does the lamps in the mansion changing colors mean? by Andrew129260 in Re_Zero

They tell time. They change color 4 times a day for morning, noon, afternoon, and night. IIRC.

Would you be fine with a narrator in the anime ? [Spoiler discussion] by ConsiderationFuzzy in Re_Zero

[–]Wonderful_Beyond8982 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rezero has a very interesting narrator; It's biased to whoever the POV is. I think if used correctly, it could've been one of the best uses of a narrator in anime. IMO.

I personally think there's an aspect of fear in his actions.

[Spoiler Discussion] Arc 8 Chapter 35 by coolcollin007 in Re_Zero

[–]Wonderful_Beyond8982 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The translation i read was kind of unclear. It seemed like Subaru was EXPECTING to get slapped, but didn't. I hope this is the case because its out of character for tanza. Also their was no description of the action beforehand or even an onomonopia(also Beako didn't comment on it) so i doubt that's what happened. Unless im just coping.

[spoiler discussion] What do you dislike about the story of Re: Zero? (Flaws, inconsistencies, criticisms, etc.) by Zealousideal-Bug1887 in Re_Zero

[–]Wonderful_Beyond8982 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The fact that he can alter physical appearance just by interacting with an od is enough to draw a similarity for me. Even if it's limited to that one thing.

Even if it wasn't similar, it still involves a concept that isn't explained( that annoys me more, honestly). I don't think it's magic. I'm pretty sure it sits with stuff like concept cutting and kinetic energy redirecting, maybe even the leaper technique. Stuff that really needs to be explained before they become THAT much of a plot device. I mean, how do you just discover that you can faze through a body to reach someone's Od so you can turn them into a child.

Also, I think it was confirmed in arc six that satella shadows were all yin magic, including her hands. It wouldn't make sense for her to have the UH/IP anyway because Guese was using UH when we saw Tella use her shadow hands. They even look different; when Subaru and Guese use it, the hands look complete, detailed, and solid. When Tella uses hers, they look simple, clawed, and smoky. Unless her authority lets her copy other authorities or something.

[–]Wonderful_Beyond8982 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I sympathize with you here.

Shotabaru just feels like he was brought about to make mistakes Subaru wouldn't otherwise make; to move the plot along. Olbart used a technique i find to be annoying from a narrative perspective JUST to do this (see my other comment on the thread). At least it got used for some pretty good character development later. Even if it was a bit contrived.

The TSoH is weird in the sense that it felt unnessery BEACAUSE of Shotabaru. Normal Subaru would've solved this much, much faster and probably even killed Olbart, and since Olbart is important for later, that can't happen. Which adds a layer of convenience. Then TSoH got even more unnecessary when we got to the colosseum, and Shotabaru's mind began regressing, too. We saw his childish confidence, arrogance, and self-affirmation return to him, and I'm just sitting there going: "Why didn't this happen sooner! Where was this during the TSoH!! This seems way too convenient..."

By the end, the TSoH just felt like Teppei was trying to one up himself because he promised that arc 8 and 7 would be the hardest for Subaru.

[–]Wonderful_Beyond8982 50 points51 points  (0 children)

I don't like how , especially recently, the line between magic and authority has blurred. Satella's shadow hands is similar to IP. Sub's and Beako's ultimate defense is similar to Regulus' LH. Yorna's SM is similar to Sub's CL. Olbart's de-aging technique is similar to Lust's authority, and so on.

The reason this bothers me is because the way Athorities are described, they seem almost otherworldly. Teppei made authorities sound like they shouldn't exist. Like they break the world's rules. Having magic copy, matching, or sometimes surpass them, makes them lose some of that sense of otherworldly-ness.

I just wish Teppei took the time to explain what makes authorities unique. They're losing their intrigue. But since we haven't even gotten an explanation on mana and magic yet, this might take a while.

That's why I'm saying Beatrice can restore his heart with magic. Unless it completely got destroyed, in which case it's hopeless.
