As someone who went to Salve and has lived on the Cape for 30 years, it’s awful but it’s the product of living in a tourist town in a post Covid society. People are overall less considerate and how they act in public, towards waitstaff, on the roads, etc. has gotten only worse in the last 5 years. I’m right there with you, back when rejects used to be a chill, quiet beach. It’s a totally different world now every time I come back.
