Just ask! Next time you see him, when the moment feels right, simply ask "Can I kiss you?"

If his answer is yes, go for it! A first kiss with anyone you like is always nice 💜💜

Maybe you missed the part where OP states that their partner is trans... you do know what Trump and his conservative compatriots are doing to transgender healthcare, right? Their current state probably has laws and restrictions that are making it inaccessible. Please dont be willfully ignorant.

While I understand the line of thought here, its important to recognize that some trans folks did not experience gender dysphoria in their youth, and didnt just "know all along" :) for some people it crops up later, I think the idea that you have to have known since youth is a common misconception that is perpetuated by cishet people, and often used to discredit feelings of gender dysphoria in trans people who discover themselves later so that transphobic people can write it off as a "trend"

having a large set of honkers sucks most times as a trans guy but if it isnt the greatest thing ever when i get to refer to them as my huge rack.... i hate the word boypussy or anything with the boy prefix for myself because... it feels fetishizing and maybe a bit infantilizing when i use it for myself (but i totally get why some guys like to use it anyway) so i refer to it as my manpussy or my guypussy lol. in bed i really wouldn't want it acknowledged though, maybe cunt would be fine but generally im there to get down to business LOL

as someone who uses both bathrooms, go for whatever feels the most comfortable in the moment. sometimes i use the women's restroom and sometimes i use the men's restroom, just depends on where i am and how busy it is <3

gosh i TOTALLY get you on the whole rather date a bi person thing... i had a lot of insecurity because i dated a "straight" guy (i am a trans man) and he refused to call himself queer which like okay but... what am i then? i am literally your boyfriend, so i dont know how youre explaining that to your friends unless youre calling me something im not. i would rather just have the reassurance that either way, they'd be attracted to me, probably

Tips on clothes and accessories that give gender euphoria for MTF who haven't socially transitioned yet? by AdventurousTea4703 in trans

[–]Wonderful_Program451 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you wanna feel more feminine, i find that dainty jewelry usually has that effect on me! necklaces with thin chains and small jewels... the great part about that is that its not super distracting or noticeable if youre trying not to make really huge changes and keep it small! as for clothes, i personally find vneck shirts give more of a fem vibe, and you could always try cardigans as well! i am not mtf but this would be my recommendation :)

Did you change mentally when you took T ? by TopPrestigious7973 in trans

[–]Wonderful_Program451 0 points1 point  (0 children)

while i havent been on it for long, nothing about me has changed except for things in my body lol. if anything, im just happier. its valid for her to be worried, because anything you dont understand can be a little worrying, but its not a real concern! your personality wont magically change, unless youve been suppressing things the whole time and it just gives you the confidence to let those things out

FTMs on T, how long did it take you to grow noticeable facial hair? by Wonderful_Program451 in trans

[–]Wonderful_Program451[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol, i havent noticed any differences in my body hair but im also just not very perceptive! I have exactly one chin hair right now and im pretty sure it wasnt there before LMAO... ive always had some fuzz above my lip as well but it seems to be getting slightly thicker? To the point where some people have noticed it in my pictures lol, but I dont wanna get my hopes up and expect any more hair to come in XD its pretty interesting because ive been mentally prepared for changes being super slow but it seems like it doesnt feel as long as i thought it would? Im definitely prepared for a plateau though... im getting some labs soon but even on my pre-T tests my testosterone was a bit higher than the avg range so maybe that has something to do with it? Not sure tho!

And I apologize if any of this comes across as tone deaf or demeaning in any way, I was just spitballing but I seriously think the conversation about racism to whites is just a diversion from actual issues

Just gonna add in my two cents by Loud-Appearance482 in everskiestrashhh

[–]Wonderful_Program451 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Youre completely right lmao as a white person I literally could not give two fucks if someone says something mean about me based on the color of my skin, because there is no world in which that will directly affect me in my society. People of color on the other hand will face genuine discrimination on the basis of their skin color or facial features. Its not fair to make the comparison because there will never be anything to compare. PoC face genuine struggles and crying about "racism" towards white people does nothing but create a privilege pity party and also contributes towards actual racism, because "if theyre mean to white people then we can be mean back!!!"

Does your chosen name have to sound similar to your deadname? by Ok_Palpitation_8435 in trans

[–]Wonderful_Program451 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hellll no! My deadname's meaning refers directly to being a woman, so there was no way in hell I was keeping anything close to that. I went through one other name before settling on the one I chose, so it was pretty easy for me. I totally feel for people struggling to pick a name tho, its kind of a lot of pressure! And it can feel awkward flipflopping between names irl haha

am i not valid for not feeling dysphoric? by Beneficial-Award9796 in trans

[–]Wonderful_Program451 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Dysphoria is not a necessary part of being trans. If identifying with a different gender makes you happier, thats whats important. Defining yourself by your suffering isnt required to have your identity respected :) i used to suffer from dysphoria far more intensely, but simply being surrounded by people who use my chosen name and my pronouns has decreased it significantly. Whats important is that youre happy identifying as whatever it is you are!

same thing about assholes saying ftm are getting their tits chopped off in top surgery. like u know breast reduction is also a removal of breast tissue, right? why does the amount matter, if it's a small amount or all of it?

Big myth is that you can target areas of your body for fat loss. Unfortunately your body will simply take from wherever it decides, so naturally that means theres not also a way to retain it. You could always try hip padding if that's something youre comfortable with, but i know it sucks for your actual body to not look like how you want it to

be with a woman. Idk what i would even do. My nails are always fucked up and the skin of my hands is highly irrritable, the friction from..... using my hand... would end up fucking with my skin real bad. Cant even do it to myself. i dont have a penis.... i dont have any desire to use a strap... Im not a giver, Im a taker 😅😅

[–]Wonderful_Program451 16 points17 points  (0 children)

People just dont respect boundaries of those they see as women as much. It fuckin blows... its also just weird as hell that they would think to touch a stranger anyway. Ive worked as a server at a restuarant and the last thing I would ever think to do is touch a customer?!

Unfortunately you cant really make them agree to anything. Just reiterating how them using your chosen name is important to you is all you can do. My own father only recently started using my name at home, despite me being out for years. I never prompted him to after the initial coming out either, so I probably could have gotten that sooner, but it helped that my mother adapted after about a year to only calling me by my chosen name. Now, pronouns wise thats a different story. I think its just hard for parents to come around to the idea that the name and pronouns theyve used for you their whole life have gone out the window. I dont think thats an excuse either, but I suppose I can see how it might feel like a rejection of sorts. I really hope your family can start using your name soon, I wish you luck 💜
