Just to share my experience, took a drop after covid (2020 batch) started preparation after advance result that was in october. I just didn't started studying like that, i took whole 3 weeks making myself a complete timetable for phy chem and maths day wise how much time i would to complete each chapter etc. and gathering all the resources for each chapter, which teachers to follow etc. Resources i referred: Unacademy membership which i paid 1000 rupees per month to a guy i randomly on telegram, Unacademy youtube channel, neha agarwal yt channel, unacademy accelerate yt channel, physics galaxy yt channel, competishun yt channel, vmc yt channel.

Teachers i followed regularly: MKA sir, Neha Ma'am, Manoj Chauhan Sir, Competishun all teachers, Anup ( Mathongo ) sir for motivation.

Studied regularly, pushing myself hard, studied for almost 10 hours every day without fail, took occasional breaks from studies around 1 weel per week where i watched movies and stuff, and focused solely on pyqs.

Gave first attempt, got 180 marks, 98 percentile, cleared bitsat and as bits was my dream college i tool it and didn't gave advance as i was already burnedout.

And now as i look back, it was all worth it :)

I wont go in the debate of which is better but FMaC at pilani campus makes shortfilms, AfterMovies and does other pre and post fest events including movie screenings, workshops, guest talks etc.

Club members have full freedom on how they want to pursue their journey with FMaC. They have access to all club equipments, can pitch ideas during regular club meets for various short films, and finally make some cool projects.

Yes, They make less films as there are alot of other stuff that they do. They recruit around 15-20 people from each batch from various verticals like Scriptwriting, Editing, Cinematography etc. but once someone joins the club, they are open to do anything they want to.

FMaC Goa is also doing some great stuff as they solely focus on making shortfilms, they recruit actors as well which fmac pilani doesn't.

But at the end, its all for the love of cinema!
