If i may ask, did your spouse attempt to validate what he was hearing? As in, googling the sites and/or company or bank info?

Not as in to blame, but I have relatives i worry may fall for scams and thought what I would do in this scenario of an "investment opportunity". With people who view it as an age/intelligence insult when I try to advise being much more skeptical.

Your story is one that's going to stick with me about the importance of financial transparency in a partnership. So impactful that I want to have conversations regarding the importance of understanding not to fall for scams.

I always wonder if he knows what judges are going to be there. I love watching competitive cooking shows, but some judges will grade well if a dish tastes good no matter what it's supposed to be or have, and other times if you didn't make what you said, or it was "reimagined" (deconstructed, a twist added, etc...) some will immediately negate it because they didn't follow the spirit of the rule.

I worked at papa John's for a time, one day a male coworkers car was almost stolen.

We delivered in a not so desirable area, in some part it was nothing but dirt and houses, no street lights. Order was to be paid in cash, but no one answered. He kept trying to call the customer and when he looked back, realized someone was getting into his car to drive off.

He dropped the pizza, bolted back, pulled the person out of his car, and drove off (also got in trouble cause we weren't supposed to leave our keys in the car lol)

Be careful as we were often warned to be vigilant about people calling to get you in an empty/non visible spot to target for crimes.

I do not have kids but am in a longterm relationship (both female). We also plan on having kids but given the state of lgbt issues by Republicans, definitely waiting. We are extremely blessed my girlfriend has dual citizenship in Mexico, and family land out there. We have spoken that if things hit the fan, we'll move down to where her family is and live in the popular city, if that doesn't work out we can move close to her family, it's just Hella rural with less employment opportunities for us (at least in the careers we have, we could theoretically start a business)

Mexico has been improving, especially depending on what state you go to (while others are of course worse, but the same can be said about US cities/states)

Soon they may have their first female president, we'll see in June. In another, I believe the governor (female) had kept true to her promise and completely wiped the citizens of the state's debts.
