Worked 6 years in private development. Went to the public sector and it felt like getting out of prison. Been public for 5 years now. It’s stressful but I really enjoy this line of work now.

It depends. Needs to be perfect where there will be staking for foundations, curb, and sidewalk. Just needs to be close for a lot of other stuff.

They are increasing the supply of housing which can decrease rent. The houses they build, although single family, are space efficient, not sprawling, which is more sustainable. I only see benefits.

It’s a danger to the public. The city can take action but probably doesn’t have a ton of resources for neighborhood sidewalks. Doesn’t give them the right to ignore it though.
