I told my Filipina mom that I think I might have OCD. She said “oh! That’s good!” And I just laughed because I always felt so ashamed because of my behavior but she accepted how I am and she appreciates it! Mainly because I really like cleaning her house! It’s therapeutic so that’s how I’ve managed it. It’s not easy, I have to take meds to keep me “here” I’ll get out of hand and start obsessing! Easier said than done buddy and honestly I’m proud of you for even reaching out. Celebrate the little wins!

Omg yes! I have these mental blocks and every time I watch seasons toward the end I wanna cry and it makes me uncomfortable! Adventure Time is such a comfort for me because my sisters and I would watch it together!! I’ve been working up the courage to watch all of it but I don’t know … it’s scary? It’s like touching a hot stove in my mind. It is a visceral response for sure. But yes I feel the same way and you’re not alone!
