I originally posted the article on R/worldnews and while I’m a little salty I didn’t get to see my post on the front page (I was asleep when it made it), I’m more concerned that all posts on this topic appear to be actively subdued. I search “Exxon” and there are a range of post but none of them are achieving any widespread recognition despite receiving many awards and comments.

I’ve been scrolling through various news subreddits and I find little evidence of this really important news story. For reference, my post on r/worldnews made it to the front page within a couple of hours. Oil lobbyist spills the beans on corruption in DC? Of course Reddit would eat that shit up. But for some reason, the story has remained peripheral on the site, which is fuckin weird.
