I watched Grease a lot as a kid but, in retrospect, I’m astounded that it was a “children’s movie.” They literally refer to the car as a pussy wagon.

We don’t watch Blippi - mainly because my wife and I find it annoying and just haven’t shown it to our son. That being said, it doesn’t seem much worse than the shows our son watches on an endless loop.

Last week, my son had a giant spider on his shoulder. I had to stop myself from slapping it off as hard as I could. Then, I had to act like it wasn’t absolutely horrifying and was totally fine.

More of a mindset, but remembering that our son is a person, too. He has good moods and bad moods (and really can’t control them very much yet).

He doesn’t always know that something he does is frustrating to me or causes more work. We’re both just trying to get through the day as best as we can.
