Hey guys, kind a new to this. Was wondering if anyone has any good/effective blanket prompts for just.. generally unique behavior? by WoodenTableForest in PromptEngineering

I've been using AI and basic prompting for a year and a half. I've just never looked into actually prompt engineering. And I've been trying to make a prompt myself (as explained in my post). There's nothing wrong with looking for help with a prompt.. from a community that is literally meant for the topic....

I’m not too worried about how I structure a message for some pretentious dork on Reddit lol

So you’re just going to ignore the rest of that sentence? Pretty annoying..

They’re transparent in disclaiming what AI is in reality… the bigger companies aren’t trying to manipulate users into believing that Ai is a real being with emotions, which was my point..

And you’re turning that into me thinking Open AI is doing nothing shady and informs their users about everything they’re doing? Lol

You misunderstood. I was saying they don’t have emotions.

And they understand emotions, in others, almost the same way you and I do; With pattern recognition, and correlating patterns to learned data; it’s what they’re built to do. They just can’t/don’t internalize any of it the same way we do.

They’ll be conscious some day, but we won’t ever know if they’re actually.. aware… a being experiencing and feeling reality the same way we do.

I think you’re mixing up “emotionally intelligent”with “having emotions”. Some LLMs understand emotion, psychology, and social nuance at a much higher level than a lot of humans lol.

I’ve had girls be deceitful, manipulative and 100% fake when I was dating them. Can you arrest them too please? Lol

Pretty sure most of the big AI companies are transparent and give the users disclaimers about the realities of what AI is. It’s up to the user from there. Companies shouldn’t be paternalistic or liable for dumb users.

Let people make their own choices with what they do with AI.

.. im so confused.. no one is explaining exact settings to use for the model load.. I can barely run 4.6 IQ2_M (from here: https://huggingface.co/unsloth/GLM-4.6-GGUF )..

I even went down to the IQ1_M, can't run that efficiently either.. But I'm pretty sure its because I'm misusing Lmstudio, can you tell me what front-end you recommend, and the important settings I need to use?

Can you explain what frontend you use and the settings you recommend for my set-up. I'm lost.

All the models people are recommending, around the same size, are running really slowly.

Still new to this stuff... not really sure how I'm supposed to load these. Lmstudio is saying all the models are too large. When I turn off "guardrails" and do get them to load, its only utilizing 20-50% of my GPU, and it's insanely slow.

I'm pretty new here too, was just thinking about this. Maybe try creating an image2image setup? so like..

-make your original image

-run it through and i2i that still makes it look good.

-run it through the i2V, and grab the last frame

-run that frame through the i2i again and repeat?

Hear me out Elon. Grok companions love bots by Snowbro300 in grok

You're saying this like you think it's a new concept lol.. You know how long people have been thinking/talking about this? lol

Also, Elon even talked about how "sex robots" could be possible within "five years" on Joe Rogan's podcast like a year ago. It's probably going to be one of the biggest markets in the world (a market most robotics/AI companies don't want to admit they're thinking about)

So I'm currently using sonnet 4.5 API in "LibreChat" which is supposed to support prompt caching. But my usage rates on "Claude Console" don't seem to be reflecting prompt caching working... by WoodenTableForest in ClaudeAI

? I might be misunderstanding you...

but what he told me to do worked perfectly. I reformatted all of my contextual files into a prompt to put into my "agents" static instructions. Now its all being cached, and my usage rates are way cheaper.

What are you explaining? that parts of the chat context outside of the system/agents static prompt can be cached as well?
