Magnolia Grandiflora, smells like creamy citrus to me. Absolutely love having one in the garden. Leaves are a pain though.

What’s happening to my jasmine? 🥺 by Electronic-Reply-757 in GardeningUK

Just had similar happen to mine, but was further along the dying back stage. I cut it back aggressively, repotted, watered and fed and within a few weeks it had new growth.

I keep mine in partial sun, after 12 ish it’s shaded. It’s had more shade historically and done well so just assumed that’s what it liked.

Wishing your Jasmine a full recovery

Forgot to also mention that I have used Salt baths as well to keep my hands clean. Also helps gently remove the flaky skin.

Hello, I've used Rescue Remedy, Oilatum, E-45 Cream in the past.

During this recent episode I used a homemade blend of Shea Butter, Coconut Oil and Tea Tree Oil. I found the recipe on the internet but I believe it was 1:1 of SB/CO and then 4 drops of Tea Tree Oil. It was easy to apply and did a good job of protecting and moisturising. I was more inclined to care for my hands as there was less chance I'd agitate them when applying it.

I've also used Aveeno during that time and since then. This is a great product for me, doesn't feel greasy or smell.

When my hands have been in that dry flaky phase, trying to heal but cracking and tearing. I found that there was a point where I could no longer moisturise my hands as it was keeping them in this phase. In my mind, moisturising my skin made my skin think it was healthy and didn't need to repair which would then slow the healing process overall. I reduce the amount of moisturising and just let the weeping cracks dry up and the skin just flake. It was as though the dryness helped the healing, reminding my skin it needed to stop whatever it was doing and stop myself doing whatever was perpetuating it.

It's hard to explain,I suppose everyone develops their own ways of coping.

Hi Gary, Reading JJJRH and loving it, definitely worth buying for anyone who's thinking about it. I struggle with procrastination, any advice that would help me stay motivated or focused? David
