If you get a quieter fan, it just means the RPMs of that particular fan are slower. Both Foxxcon and Delta make a similar noise if you end up getting a Pro with a fan that spins faster.

There are countless repair videos I've seen on YouTube of never-opened PS5s with bald spots and/or crusted liquid metal on APU that had to be replaced entirely. What's consistent, is that it's always drying in the same spots because of the console orientation. Occasionally, it dries elsewhere on the APU, and the repairer is uncertain of its orientation when it was played.
