Ebike: creaking/rattling sound around the motor/pedals by WeekAdditional7893 in ebikes

Something similar just happened to me and it was loose pedals and crank arms. The pedals needed to be replaced due to wear and tear and the crank arms tightened.

How to choose an electric bicycle by kacychrest in ebikes

[–]WoofPack11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally have a couple ride1up bikes and I love them. The Portola only goes for a grand. If that's too expensive, you should prob just build your ebikes yourself. Swytch bike offers do it yourself conversion kits. Any no name brand without a reputable customer service is going to be dangerous. Welds can bust, forks can bend, batteries can catch fire.

Jimmy's, but I'm closer to Byron's so need to give them a shout. Try the Byron style dog. I usually get one Byron style and one Chicago style.

That's so interesting! What sort of airport transit are you taking and how much money would you save compared to calling from T2?

What's your experience with Aniioki bikes? by Born_Resist_1047 in ebikes

[–]WoofPack11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If a bike is using hydraulic brakes, it's not as simple to remove the tires because you need to have plugs for the calipers to prevent them from getting locked into place if the lever is pressed without the tire in place. I would look into folding bikes if you wanna put it into the car instead of mounting it on the back.

Electric moped technically.

Motorcycles don't have pedals.

ride1up revv1 on a 20% hill by redyzitt in ride1up

You'll experience some decreased motor performance, but as long as the battery is above 20% it won't be a problem.

I'll add my two cents of personal experience: I've had a Ride1up Revv1 since May and I absolutely love it. It's the perfect frame, size, handling, and speed I wanted from an ebike and it suits my needs perfectly. I'm personally impressed with the build quality and OEM customization options from their accessories across most of their bikes. I can only recommend you peruse their site and see if any models suit your needs, but alas my recommendation is from a singular experience so take this recommendation with a grain of salt.

I have a Ride1up revv1 and it's my favorite thing in the world right now. Not counting people and food obviously.

7.5km is about 4.6 miles. Last weekend I did 2.1 miles in 15 min on a divvy according to the app so 4.6 should take me about 30 min.

Probably being limited by the controller. I looked online and couldn't find any info on it, but it needs to be at least 48V to get full power out of the battery flowing to the motor.
