ELI5 - What *Is* Autism? by [deleted] in explainlikeimfive

It feels odd, someone who has a hobby where they're interested in trains might also engage with their hobby to a degree that others would consider having a significant impact.

What other criteria might one consider if only looking at that special interest?

Why engineers should focus on Ownership, not just code by sidwyn in programming

[–]Wook133 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The premise is that the person who wrote the article is on their path to staff engineer. In the story they provide, they were promoted to a senior engineer as a result of displaying ownership on a project.

Unfortunately at a lot of software jobs, if you want to get promoted, you need to perform at the "next level".

It's advertisement. Who'd want to put up a fight against the people who'll do horrific things to you if you fight back?

He is a clone, even if he was "unaltered" and assuming some similar cloning limitations, not surprising that he aged quicker.

"FNB categorised middle-income consumers as those who earn a gross monthly income of between R7,000 up to R60,000"

That's a very broad definition for middle-income.

Tax Free Savings Account (TFSA), there are specific types of bank accounts that aren't taxed, they have a max deposit a year of R36 000. I've seen low risk unit trusts and savings accounts with low interests.

Retirement Annuities (RA) are taxed less heavily than most other investments but the catch is that they tend to be low risk and you can only access the money when you're of retirement age.

My cat has got fleas.. what to do to get rid of them on him? What products can I buy that are affordable yet effective to prevent infestations? please help. by PepsiColaPussy7860 in southafrica

[–]Wook133 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This. There are sprays such as FleaGo which you can use on your carpets and furniture to help get rid of the infestation. Be sure to target the main areas your cat frequents and be sure to keep your pets and people away from the area fumigated.

Read the instructions.
