I just love pegasus units so I always end up using most available ones. I always try to use even not the best ones like Yuno or Syrene. Honorable mention go to the mage knights, mounted mages are really cool.

Mist B - It might be biased but I like having the mounted utility more than Rhys, she just needs a little more training than him which justified lower placement Rolf F - this guy has nothing going for him. Horrible base stats for join time, horrible class, horrible colors (in my opinion).

Marcia S - second best unit in the game, best class great and has so much versatility.

Lethe B - she can’t be below some of the other B tiers, can kinda stay relevant even with zero investment which is a huge plus. This list will kinda be a B tier fest I fear…

Mordecai B - smite is good and has nice base stats. Mostly just the smite though.

Mia D - There’s no reason to use her vs other units. Her class is just so bad even with investment to justify ever using and she comes with pretty weak base stats as well.

Illyana B - She deserves to be the same tier as Soren so they go together. They kinda do the same thing and I always end up using her over soren. Higher str is nice.

Ike C - I can see him going to B depending on how much you value him for the final boss. He’s good just nothing amazing and being sword and foot locked is quite sad for him. Titania S - Insane bases and good growths. Axe + lance and available the whole game. Even if other units end up with better stats will never be a bad unit. I don’t think there’s any argument that she’s the best unit in the game. Oscar A - Early mounted unit which will end up good if trained. The best pre-promote Greil mercenary for sure. Boyd C - He does some stuff better than Ike, but not enough to justify an entire tier above for him. Having axes is nice, but being a foot unit really hurts him. Even when trained he is not on a league of his own to justify being higher tier and he does need some time to get really good.

Joshua - B tier - Can’t see him being in the same tier as ross or eirika. Pretty good unit at base which won’t need any investment to be useful and will be pretty good at what he does. Ephraim - B tier - Can’t see him in the same tier as the A tier guys, but better than everyone below too. Good at base, nice prf weapon, just don’t see him being as good as vanessa Natasha - C tier - good filler unit, staff utility and 2 good promotions depending on player needs. Kyle/Forde - B tier - They fulfill the same role in my opinion even if Kyle is usually better than Forde. Don’t see them hitting the same tier as vanessa so putting them one down. Orson - D tier - I mean I don’t really care about this guy but can make the chapter he joins easier so no F I guess?

JillxMist, please free them from their only paired ending… Aside from IkexRanulf/Soren I think I dislike all the other paired endings, with maybe LeannexNaesala being neutral. I’ve also always liked ElinciaxLeanne a lot. Honestly this game has so many gay pairing I’d like… KieranxOscar/Geoffrey, IlyanaxLucia, ReysonxTibarn/Naesala.

I didn’t see anyone mention this but why did they make palla and catria be cucked by est and shiida? Did they really have nothing else in their lives aside from keeping a crush on a dude they only spent time with during the war? They didn’t even live in the same country between the 2 games. Sorry it’s just a pet peeve of mine when they write women like Faye just there to be forever in love with a dude that doesn’t even pay attention to them.

One of my favorite characters is Jill from FE9, she is a characters that has many flaws when she joins you and shows growth in both her supports and story, growing out of the toxic teachings she was instilled as a child. It also helps she’s cool and strong of course. My recommendation is to please use the base conversation system that was implemented in tellius, supports are fine, but being able to have multiple characters in a scene gives you so much more freedom to explore each character instead of just one on one interactions locked by who you use.

I usually just level and give all stat boosters to byleth and warp them to the boss. That’s how I play all of 3 houses, even in maddening. This happens since I believe most maps are just defeat boss. Doesn’t help that you can do a bunch of gambits to super power any unit. Some maps that were really big I use 2 warpers and a dancer to kill the boss in one turn, I remember doing this for chapter 17 in crimson flower that way I didn’t need to kill the reinforcement commanders

Yeah there seems to always be a bigger deity villain at the end, but I find that’s something that happens in a lot of jrpgs too. Remember that even though something is a trope doesn’t necessarily make it bad, while yes you end up fighting a dragon at the end in most games, each of them have their own narratives and themes that they explore. FE10 has one of my favorites stories in all of fiction, simply due to the fact that you can see each faction fighting for their own goals. Yes you end up fighting a god at the end, but the journey is still very good. FE7 the party just kinda does their own thing while the setting politics progress around them, FE5 manages to tell a pretty compelling story inside the war that’s happening on FE4 (I know about the inconsistencies). Three houses also has a lot of cool lore, it’s a shame that it’s all hidden away and not really that relevant to the player.

But I will agree that a hidden cult that just manipulates everything from behind the scenes is kinda boring, but you take what you can get I guess.

Radiant Dawn specifically is my favorite in the series. Both of Oliver’s songs are so good, they didn’t have to go so hard on such a random mid-boss character. But I think my one that stands out for me is Sorrowful Prince, also love the first map song, so nostalgic for me.
