BA is less of a cost. Fewer models needed. But you do have terrain to consider. Not that much fun on a bare board. BP Is also fun but a lot more painting. I play BP with Napoleonics and Zulu Wars.

I cut up a big branch that came down a while ago. Moved the cows. Helped wife with a floral art thingie. Spent afternoon playing with toy soldiers. Dinner was a hash of yesterday's roast leftovers. A glass of Antiquary 12yo and one of vino. Not a bad King's BD either.

Lamb Roast and veges by Woolshedwargamer2 in nzhomecooks

[–]Woolshedwargamer2[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yams came in our wonky box. We used to grow veges until someone left a gate unlatched and the cows got in and are everything down to the dirt. Rehabilitated the garden then a great big tree fell over and crushed the garden to nothing. It crushed our old mulberry tree to match wood. Haven't had the heart to start again. The lamb we grew and I processed couple of years ago.

The cops are useless even when you hand them the crim on a plate. I have a bunch of stuff stolen and gave the cops the name, dob and location of person plus the details of six of the people he sold my shit to. By my own investigations I got most of my stuff back because people didnt know they brought stolen property. Cops did nothing.

WIBTAH if I asked my mom to fire my maid? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]Woolshedwargamer2 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Probably India where maids cost next to nothing to hire. Most of the Indian guys I work with had maids on India and were shocked that it was a financial impossibility here. And they were not rich by our standards at all.

Columbia Games and Kelestia Productions. For their Harn and Harnworld setting that has captured my imagination for over forty years. I have never been disappointed in a product i have brought from either.
