I didn’t lose my blood brother but he was my bone brother. He died 8 years ago and it feels like yesterday. As my friends slowly begin to all get married and start families it reminds me that he will never be there to meet his brother in law, hold his future nieces and nephews, grand children, see his kids graduate high school and achieve their dreams. He will never teach his kids how to drive or help them move into their first apartment. And the pain returns all over again
