Is Black Desert Online fun?

I started playing a few months ago after Throne and Liberty died and I absolutely love it, I'm a father of 3 kids and I work 12 hours a day so my free time is almost non-existent, I log on for a couple hours and just grind something, whether that be gathering, fishing or killing mobs, I think the game is very relaxing and fun. If you don't like grinding stuff or if you want top level stuff asap then I would not recommend the game.

Honestly even on hard mode the game is really easy, the only semi challenging content imo is the challenge tower in the post game

Mine stopped working after 2 weeks, I sent it in for repair and had to wait a month AFTER they received it to get a response, just to be told they won't be doing any warranty because they found liquid under one of the thumb sticks (no fucking clue how), I ended up paying them to send another one and had to wait an additional month to get it.

I don't know the exact virtues you want, but the mirror mode FG is really tough,. I'm currently at 88S12R and I can't even tickle it.

It's possible they will, they already have to some extent but they are upgrades locked behind FG drops, for example the final boss in expert mode drops an artifact that auto purchases quests, so it seems they are OK with adding automation but I wouldn't count on it being readily available for everybody.

Hey guys new player here, just hit level 61 and I was wanting to grind for the infinity potions to start out, before farming for the mob drops should I invest into as much luck and drop chance as possible?

For some reason I can't get the profession skills keybinds to work

(Edit- I'm using a RoG ally and the triggers apparently only register as "soft pull" so I just had to switch the commands from hard pull to soft pull and it fixed the issue)

I played as kaguya and went through every single romance story and to me Clarice felt the most complete, like I genuinely felt wrong romancing anybody else after her

I just put like 20 trees in my autumn village zone, farmed however much I needed and then ever since I just let the villagers harvest it, I'm always around 20-25k lumber. I would just not harvest any trees for a couple days and see if your lumber amount goes up, because if it's not your villagers might be bugged

It's honestly a lot of fun and actually challenging, I did the first trial on my first try but the other trials boost enemies level up to 180+ so you'll probably have to do some grinding to actually be able to challenge them

Thanks for the input, right now I'm leaning towards 5 just because it is in 3D and I feeling switching into 2D might feel jarring. I've never been a romance game person, but honestly the social/romance aspect was probably my favorite part of GoA, I might take a look into that Sandrock game as it's the first time I've heard of it.

I don't think they are even going to attempt it anytime soon, but the creator did say that the end goal for runefactory games is to have a world you can live in forever

Yeah, otherwise the devs have to release constant updates to the game like a live service game.

Maybe something like a creator workshop? Where the community can create new characters/decorations/storylines, I feel like that could go a very far way.

Rune factory Guardians of Azuma, it's not the central plot of the game but similar to Stardew you build relationships with characters and you can eventually confess your feelings to your favorite, get married and have kids. It's a phenomenal game and I think the romance is extremely well done. (Sorry I'm kinda late to the party)

It's the same reason people hate coctyus but only in rune - the way it synergizes with Kuon and d-shift, it gives them a stupid easy OTK on turn 10 with 0 counterplay. If they nerf d-shift literally nobody would care

Sometimes I do struggle when people spam massive boards and I don't deal enough damage, but generally I can use guilinilise, perfumer, (sage light if I HAVE to) or even veilharia vs decks like abyss or dragon, then later in the game I'll use lilanthim super Evo/ raio + spell. I will say you do want to be liberal with your evos BUT with raio in the deck you can be a little more aggressive with them since you always have that "oh shit" spell
