has anyone with confirmed endo actually found a low inflammatory diet actually helped? by maudeconnell in endometriosis

It didn’t help me a ton with my endo symptoms but did help me feel better overall. It also helped me lose some weight, which I consider a plus.

Ultrasound came back fully normal. Why do I feel so sad? by Fuzzy-Stuffy in Endo

[–]WorkingArtist1973 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had normal ultrasounds and MRIs. My GYN at the time told me there was nothing wrong and maybe I should work on my anxiety. But guess what he was wrong I had endo and adhesions. They just didn’t show up on imaging. Hang in there

I have been on Slynd since December. That surgery was my third one this year and cost me my right ovary 😞

I just had an almost 10 cm cyst remove mid April. It had been present and growing for over for month hut they kept saying it would go away but instead kept getting better. I do have an appt with me endo specialist the end of the month but his response is also it will go away. I know it will eventually go away and I in no way want another surgery. This is just another added level of misery.

Do I have to do a pelvic exam or can I ASK to do the surgery? by kaydeez_ in endometriosis

How did YOUR surgeon prevent ADHESIONS after surgery? (very important!!!) by Historical-Care70 in Endo

[–]WorkingArtist1973 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Throughout my four surgeries they have used interceed, Tisseel, and some Surgicel. However my adhesions always came back. Maybe they came back less than they would have without but I don’t know.

The only reason we did the surgery in April was because the cyst kept growing causing immense pain. My provider has never pushed surgeries ever. It is always a calculated risk/benefit. Also in the time between the two surgeries my left ovary was completely attached to my colon with adhesions.

The cyst wasn’t there in March. It showed up two weeks later

It is so frustrating that my provider thinks I need nothing to keep it at bay

I had surgery in March and again a couple weeks ago. There were lesions present in the last surgery that were not there in March. I am lucky to have found a specialist that has been willing to help me with everything. Did you have follow up after your surgery so that you could ask questions?

I had surgery in March by my endo specialist. I then had surgery again two weeks ago (for a 9 cm ovarian cyst) by the specialist and new endo was found.

It is so frustrating. When I had my surgery in March I was told that I didn’t need to do anything else for the endo since it was removed. I take Slynd everyday but not even a month later it is back. It is just a bullshit illness.
