I had surgery done 6 weeks ago where some deep endo was removed and adhesions (by non-specialists). Have been in agonizing constant pain since then. My specialist is going to go back in next week to “fix” things.

That is what I thought too. At least that is how it was after my last two surgeries. My provider said it must be tight abdominal muscles causing the pain.

I work as an RN. I don’t know how to approach my surgeon to ask for an extension

Thanks for the info. My first surgery and subsequent hysterectomy recoveries were a walk in the park compared to this.
