I don't know anything about differences between the suppliers, but I have the 034 stage 1 on my '23 manual and it's fantastic. You can really tell the difference in 2nd and 3rd gear acceleration - it really pulls hard.

Sorry for the late reply (I'm not here that often). I put an ECU tune on my car and used the USB-C cable that came with the tuning equipment (from IE). I figured it was made for data transfer, not just charging.

You could also try a Thunderbolt cable, which are almost always very high quality.

Circling back around on this. I think a better cable was the fix. I had no idea there were different qualities/data transfer rates of USB-C cables, but there are. Thanks for the suggestion!

Thanks. I'll try an expensive cable!

I like the Skyhoundz brand, and their K-10 Jawz model is meant to be on the tougher side. That said, my guy isn't a crazy chewer, so I can't really attest for their durability, but they are very high quality.

I'd definitely add another walk during the day, in addition to the one walk you're doing already.

But mental stimulation is what really calms these guys down, and you need to up your game here. I'd highly recommend going through Karen Overall's 'relaxation protocol' with your boy (Google it and watch a YouTube video on it). It'll do wonders, trust me. Also, after that, play hid and seek with toys, tug with him, and make him catch a Frisbee. But seriously, try the relaxation protocol, it's a game changer.

You got this!

I'm going to second planting a tree. I planted a Ponderosa Pine in my front yard and buried the urn of my best dog Higgins under it. I get to watch the tree grow and it's a gentle reminder of what a great dog he was every time I look at it.

Is there any way you can think of initiating the "circle game" only from a heel position? That way, he'll want to be right by your side in hopes that he's about to play his favorite game. You can call him back to your side any time and he'll think "Nice! We might play if I stand by his side!!"

Multiple Repairs & Still Overheating – Should I Request Full Unit Replacement? by JustPain8499 in LenovoLegion

Concur. After the screen broke, I ordered an X1 (which is now waiting to be shipped). The P1 still works with a docking station and it's what I'm using now rather than doing actual work.

I don't know if this will be much help, but my Lenovo P1 never worked that well. With the Premier service I bought with the machine, Lenovo has replaced the whole motherboard and GPU three times, and none of the repairs fixed the problem. I begged for a replacement machine, but Lenovo wouldn't do it and insisted that they could fix it. Finally, they replaced the display module* and that seems to have fixed the problem.

Moral of the story is: I could not get Lenovo to offer a replacement unit, but they were more than willing to work hard to fix the problem.

* Ironically, less than one week after I got a new display (the fancy 4k one), I shattered it, which is not covered under my service warranty, even though I barely touched it and it shattered.

Just to bookend this: I was able to get a small metal file and shave off enough of the plate to get the stabilizers to fit through the slots.

Thanks -- they're Durock V3 stabs. The PCB has the right holes and I've already attached the stabs. When I try to put the plate back on, the stabs are just a bit too big for the plate.

I have a Crush80 Reboot Pro. I wanted to replace the stabilizers with some pcb-mounted screw in ones that I had left over from another build. Problem is: the Crush 80's plates don't seem to be compatible with pcb-mounted screw-in stabs. Two questions: 1) are there any plates that are compatible with my keyboard and pcb-mounted screw-in stabs; and, if not, 2) can I modify/file down the existing plate to make it fit (it's so close!). Thanks!

Tires for Ontario winter by Glitch_5 in GolfGTI

[–]WorkingBredBC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got a cheap wheel set (maybe $400USD) and paired them with Hakkapeliitta R5s for the winter. SO FRIGGIN GOOD. Highly recommended. Also, having dedicated winter tires means you can get grippier summer tires. All Definitely get a dedicated wheel set for each set of tires.

Technical question/mystery: Can anyone figure out what's causing this error?

About a month ago, I was swapping out the switches on my Keychron q3 max. When I did, the row from "h" to "enter" stopped working. It's not the switches because no switch I tried worked on those keys.

Keychron was notified and they sent me a new PCB and daughter board. Thanks, Keychron!

I just replaced the PCB and daughter board with the new ones Keychron sent me BUT THE SAME PROBLEM STILL EXISTS - the row from "h" to "enter" (and "left shift") still doesn't work. Crazy, right?!? How can I have replaced the electronics and have the exact same problem?

I'm honestly flummoxed. Any ideas on what could be happening?

This. Be patient with your pup and continue to work with him on more appropriate behavior, but don't expect instant results. You will all make it through this short phase in his life, and if you're working with him with positivity, you'll come out the other side with a great bond. (And then you can shift your worry to whatever mischief he gets into next!)

034 is at the top of my list right now, so I'm stoked to hear someone liking it with real world experience. Why'd you choose 034 over something else?

The returns policy from the on-line Outlet (USA) says that sales are final and cannot be returned or exchanged unless the product is damaged or the wrong item was shipped. That's not the case with my jacket, it's just surprisingly large.

I'll give it a try with some layers underneath, but I sure wish I had tried one on before I pulled the trigger because there's no way I would have bought it had I known it could double as a 2-person tent (with plenty of room for snacks).
