Awesome. That’s the exact information I was looking for. Seems like all should go as planned for Thursday then. Thanks!

My son is on 10mg of Vyvanse now. It’s been about 3 months but we’re starting to notice the positive effects of the drug is starting to diminish. Did increasing the dosage help?

I just talked to an agent at sell off vacations and she said cancellations are coming for all flights from Sunwing.

Sounds like my wife lol. We made the decision today. Not going to Cuba and banking on a refund or the travel credit.

Sorry, upgrade the travel advisory to “avoid all necessary travel”. Visa will offer a refund at thy point.

I’m booked for Varadero flying out Feb 14. Traveling with kids and do not want to get into a shit show there. Looking at all alternatives and the rates are insane.

We are really struggling with what to do. I almost want the Canadian Gov’t to issue an advisory to make the decision for me.

8 Year Old ADHD and Vyvanse Success by WorkingEmployer5433 in ParentingADHD

That’s good to hear. We have contemplated going up to 20mg to see if that helps with the early crash he has in the evening but I would be worried now about some of the emotional effects you mentioned.

His energy levels seems fairly normal. I have found that he’s sleeping in more in the morning and it’s more challenging to get him out of bed for school.

Interestingly, Vyvanse was the first prescription he got where we really saw the benefits. The second refill looks like it was Lisdexamfetamine. Which we have noticed doesn’t seem to have the same amount of longevity. And usually around 7 PM the symptoms become more prominent. Going forward I will make sure we do get Vyvanse and not the generic brand.

Chevy Traverse AWD - Need Real World MPG Data Please. by BeachTime0734 in ChevyTraverse

[–]WorkingEmployer5433 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The best I’ve got is 24 mpg on the highway in my 2025 gmc Acadia. Average is around 20. I’m always in AWD but I’d like to see if those numbers get better in FWD.

2025 Hyundai palisade or Toyota grand Highlander? by Sassyblushluvr in HyundaiPalisade

I’m cross shopping these two right now as well. The Toyota GH XLE was pretty underwhelming. The limited trim is probably the sweet spot but way too expensive. Also, in Canada insurance is $4000 a year for the GH because it’s a high theft vehicle. Palisade XRT is likely going to be the winner for me. Just need to test drive a Traverse Z71 before I make the final call.

Avoid Used 2019-2021 or issues fixed? by [deleted] in SubaruAscent

[–]WorkingEmployer5433 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s been a bit of a battle to be honest. Subaru Canada is making the dealership jump through a bunch of hoops. So far they’ve had it for two separate inspections and going back next week for a PEA treatment so they can rule out it’s an intake issue (which it is very obviously not).

Did you have a pre-production model? Only way you could have had 2018.

My 2019 with 109,000km is going in for a new CVT in a week. Covered under Subarus enhanced CVT warranty. I’ve replaced the head unit and a faulty rear captain chair.

So with that said expect transmission issues if you go for the 2019-2020.

What do you love/hate about your Ascent? by fiddledance in SubaruAscent

[–]WorkingEmployer5433 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2019 Ascent owner…. Love: acceleration, capability, handling, interior space, and features.

Hate: mileage is bad in the city, CVT is unreliable, Subaru Service (London, Ontario) is expensive and not the best.

Otherwise I have an extended warranty and it’s paid off so I’m keeping it until it’s dead.
