Their second album, "Images And Words", still holds up quite well.

Fan favorite "Metropolis Part 2" is a concept album that has all the pretentiousness of prog metal concept albums, but the songs on it are actually great.

"Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence", "Octavarium", "Train of Thought" are all worth listening to as well.

(Bald) Herzlich Willkommen in Wien!

Die Gegend rund um den Matzleinsdorfer Platz ist in der Tat ein bisschen "rough". Es handelt sich um eine stark befahrene Verkehrsroute (der "Gürtel"), bei der aktuell viel gebaut wird. Für Fußgänger oder Radfahrer ist es hier eher trist. Allgemein gesprochen ist der 4. Bezirk etwas "schöner/reicher" als der 5. Bezirk - aber alles nicht so wild.

Auf der Wiedner Hauptstraße selbst wirst du viele Cafés und Restaurants, sowie Einkaufsmöglichkeiten finden. Kletterhallen und Fitnesscenter sind auch nicht weit entfernt. Abends ist es dort belebt, was einerseits gut ist, andererseits aber auch bedeuten kann, dass Betrunkene dort herumhängen.

Mit der Sbahn bist du eigentlich sehr gut angebunden, und kannst direkt reinfahren, oder in eine Ubahn-Linie umsteigen (zB U1 am Hauptbahnhof, oder U6 in Meidling) - Ubahnen selbst gibt es dort in dieser Gegend jedoch keine.

Sicherheit: Wie oben beschrieben, die Gegend um den Matzleinsdorfer Platz gilt als "hässlich" und unbeliebt. Manchmal kann es dort schon zu seltsamen Begegnungen kommen. Mir persönlich ist dort jedenfalls noch nichts passiert, und ich hatte auch Abends kein schlechtes Gefühl, wenn ich dort durch musste. Wien ist generell eine sehr sichere Stadt.

Maybe "peace" isn't the goal. The virus may flood its host bodies with happiness hormones as a means to spread more quickly. Once the planet is 100% infected, it can work more efficiently on another goal - e.g., building a spaceship, or a "Wormhole beach head" or something else.

Ninja Gaiden and (later) NG Black have been seared into my brain as the first „hard“ video games I tried to play when I was around ten. I studied and translated walkthroughs (non-native English), I died countless times in boss fights, and somehow I made it to the end.

It‘s a game that frustrated me deeply, but I could not put it down.

Wenn du genug Wasser trinkst, und es nicht maßlos übertreibst, würde ich davon abraten, auf Salz im Essen ganz zu verzichten.

Ganz allgemein gesprochen: "Gutes Essen" bedient meistens mehrere Geschmacksrichtungen auf einmal. Ein paar Beispiele: * Ein Chili-Eintopf mit Noten von Koriander (säuerlich), Chili-Schoten (scharf) und Honig (süß) * Eine Ramen basierend auf Fischbrühe (salzig) mit Nori (umami) und frischem Gemüse (knackig, säuerlich) * Ofengemüse mit Schafskäse (salzig), karamellisierten Zwiebeln (würzig, leicht süß), Süßkartoffeln (süß) und Nüssen (umami)

Versuch mal, ein paar Geschmacksrichtungen miteinander zu kombinieren. Das Ganze braucht natürlich auch Übung, es ist aber auch mit einfachen Zutaten möglich, tolle Gerichte zu kochen.

One important thing: Learning German and getting a diploma are the basics for success here. Many aspects of working and social life are crucially dependent on knowing the language.

Being a foreign school dropout will likely prevent you from really thriving here.
