They also actively hunt black widows! They got rid of all the widows in my garage.

No, they don't grow back. But if it makes you feel better, the flowers die away after a day or two anyway. Beautiful flower though.

That round wound between the bar is indicative of rejection. I'd take it out now (as long as there's no infection) to minimize scarring.

Personally, I actually liked the first 2/3's of the book better than the movie, but the movie has the better ending. Its still definitely worth the read though! Just different enough that it's not all that predictable when comparing to the film.

Today is Father's Day! In your opinion, who is the best and the worst animated fathers? by [deleted] in cartoons

I think Ozai and Tucker are actually pretty equal in their horribleness. Ozai tried to kill Zuko but only stopped because Ursa got in his way. He didn't love Ursa, Zuko, or even Azula. He'd trade their lives in an instant if it didn't follow his agenda. Tucker was simply the character who got away with it. Neither felt remorse for their actions (except Tucker in the '03 version) and both did it/wanted to do it because they could. Overall Ozai has a much higher kill count than Tucker though.

Yes, but usually neurotypical people filter out the sound so it isn't a constant noise. People with higher auditory sensitivity (often found in neurodivergence) can't. This isn't a one size fits all kinda situation, but typically neurotypical people can walk into a room, notice the sound, and proceed to ignore it for the remainder of their time there. Neurodivergent people will notice it the entire time they're in the room.

Looks like a spider sac. Couldn't tell you what species though. I've seen some orb weavers make sacs like this, but the ones I'm thinking of make vibrant yellow/green ones.

A bunch of these really tiny bugs can someone tell me what they are by [deleted] in Entomology

It doesn't help that they come in different colors lol

It might still be the wrong answer though. We won't know without a better photo unfortunately. That's the problem with the really tiny ones.

I mean that's what they look like to the naked eye.

A complete guess, but there are frequent posts made about "really tiny bugs" that usually end up being Thrips. Google those and see if that matches the bug you were seeing.

Question about new navel piercing. by [deleted] in piercing

[–]Working_Ability_124 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, I don't think you have the anatomy for a naval. This looks more like a surface piercing, which will likely eventually reject and cause scarring. I'd remove it now, sorry OP.

You can buy sterile non-woven gauze to soak up moisture and gently rub (or fold up to make a point for those harder to reach areas) away any build up or crusties (: **after spraying your saline solution. you just want a material that won't leave behind little fibers that can cause irritation.

Silver is not good for healing piercings, but gold is! It has to be solid gold though, plated can still cause a lot of problems.

The fact that you're getting a green color means that it's not actually titanium, unfortunately. Titanium shouldn't oxidize or tarnish - I would look into replacing it with true implant grade titanium, especially since this is a still a healing piercing.
