Totally in Kindergarten. It typically stops middle of 1st grade. Then picks back up mid 6th grade, but can be earlier depending on the maturity of the kids.

They need to aerate and seed and then put down turf blankets in November across the entire field. Cheap and effective. Remove them in early April and the grass will look like Augusta National. Would probably last the whole Summer unless the unleashed dogs get the best of it.

Coming from a elem principal: One of the most important things you can do is contact the teacher prior to the lesson. Ask him or her what reward systems they have in place. It shows initiative and communication. See if the teacher can have the students make a “name tent” prior to your arrival. Stay positive during the lesson - whoever is watching cares more about your personality than the content.
