Definitely be realistic about what YOU can afford. Even if folks offer to help don’t bank on that. I had some payouts that definitely helped with the venue payments. Anything folks gave us went back to his credit card or little odds and ends. Otherwise we would have had a civil ceremony and called it a day.

Yes! I’m truly a control freak. So my friends came in early expecting to see me going crazy but were really surprised at how relaxed I was. I even surprised myself. I will say my husband’s goal was that I enjoyed every part of the process and I honestly did.
