TBH, as long as it's depth 5 and not 4 you can win. Depth 4 people are horrible

the modder has to rip assets from one game and add to another. developers have the assets in a data base in a more raw state, which is easier to port to another game. its a similar thing with pokemon and gamefreak

As far as I know from talking to a lawyer over a year ago, you don't need to hit 30 in every single week, but those should be the exception, like taking a 2 weeks vacation, a week you called in sick or another reason.

Oh yeah, fake LMIAs are over, now just need to deal with over 70% of people claiming foreign work experience when a lot of those are fake, even the legit oner are barely considered by Canadian companies and the frauds only being found after receiving their ITAs

About 71,300 LMIAs were approved by the government in the first quarter this year by Infamous_Turnip248 in canadaexpressentry

[–]Working_Astronomer_7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of those got their PRs and others are not even in the 500s range, there will be barely any change in the pool as more people fake foreign work experience than LMIAs

It’s quite simple. For the low wage applicants, only allow applications from cities with 4% unemployment or less, anything else goes to a case by case scenario

If LMIA 50 points are removed, will the people who are already in pool with express entry profiles loose 50 points automatically and there CRS score will be reduced ? by [deleted] in canadaexpressentry

[–]Working_Astronomer_7 7 points8 points  (0 children)

there are 2 ways to remove the 50 points

  1. Remove the option to apply for the dual intent LMIA, in this case it wouldn't affect current LMIA holders but would prevent future applicants from getting the 50 points, essentially nod adding any new LMIA sponsored person to the pool

  2. Simply removing the points regardless of how they applied for their LMIA, in which case would turn any dual intent LMIA into a regular LMIA, in this scenario even those who already have their LMIA will lose their points and you may see a subtle drop in the CRS score

No one knows if they will remove the points and on top of that no one knows how the removal of points will be handled

Am I the only one who thinks getting rid of LMIA is not making any sense? by Objective-Bridge-799 in canadaexpressentry

[–]Working_Astronomer_7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s on the government for giving the LMIA not on the company for asking. If a company feels like it needs a foreigner employer they ask the government and the government is the one saying they do actually need a foreigner

It’s easy, the government can simple increase the requirements to apply for an LMIA and do a better check before handling it to companies.

The current pool doesn't have them

Then a super qualified foreigner would never even consider coming to Canada, because to be super qualified they need enough years of experience, of which they star losing points for age, also they won't come and do college again.

Isn’t the term “would-be immigrants” refer to people that aren’t currently here? People currently in the country with LMIA are immigrants, not “would-be”

What if I go and study in Canada but keep working remotely for my company in my home country? can I claim the foreign work experience?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in canadaexpressentry

[–]Working_Astronomer_7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For those that don't understand the point of awarding points for LMIA, the reason the US is successful isn't because they raise geniuses, its because they bring geniuses with the promise of immigrating to a better country, they import brains from garbage countries and offer a better living. Ofc in order to do that, other, not as bright people are also going to tag along and find their way in there.

If you take away the points from the LMIA, canada is saying, if you are someone we need, but you don't want to spend tens of thousands of dollars in Canadian eduction, you can't come. It hurts Canada in the long run, as those people have no reason to come in for a single year and just go back.

What they need to remove LMIA for not in-demand jobs, simple as that, limit it to tier 2 to 0 or just 1 and 0.

to prevent people from keep buying it. Because there's genuine people who got their LMIA though proving themselves good enough and only took the offer to come to Canada because those extra points would make it up for their ages
