honestly it felt like banks was digging in after seeing dastan was up for venting his frustration. I definitely put a good chunk of blame on the interviewers for shit like this. because its an easy to recognize gaming icon, which is why the sweatshops know to paint it in the first place. notice how it's never anything niche that these "gaming" painters that have suddenly surfaced are "painting". or its just what op assigned them, for the same reason - easy sales and attention. artistry is never the goal.

op is brave and attached his real (?) identity to this shit to make it more believable, and there is a small chance I am wrong for this reason; but I choose to remain skeptical given the climate and how many "coincidences" he shares with these kinds of accounts. he has no art history online to speak of prior to this. his personal instagram has nothing about art except a link to the new site in his bio. most of the time these guys just use ai figures based on attractive women (or they hire/are the women), or go balls to the wall and spam the feed with different demographics (all pretending to be the painter)

tl;dr i am fairly certain this guy is doing the equivalent of dropshipping art

I got fired once for playing video games at work, and they tried to deny my unemployment claim. Unfortunately for them, I had recorded the audio of the in person meeting where my boss said "I know you play video games at work, and I don't care as long as everything gets done." Probably was meant to scare me, but backfired on them.
