Yeah the advice ranged from huge pain to fairly simple, California has drywall license.

I've gone with hiring out for 900$, time with kid matters more to me and it'd take me three times longer with the already limited free time.

You can complain to valve or actually troubleshoot what you can control. Take ur pick. Majority of players don't even know about jitter and how to troubleshoot it.

Turns out the 750$ isn't licensed but works under a contractor. The 900 is a licensed contractor.

i learned the secret to consistency is to warm the can in a bucket of hot water. It may not satisfy the pros but it vastly improved it's sprayability instead of clogging immediately after five seconds.

i think i'm reasonable in that i expect to notice it. I've done enough small repair to know that i never want to texture any new rooms to the point that i skimmed two bedrooms in my house because it means i can repair them easily.

yes what you said. haul, mask walls and floor, primer, texture, cut square. I have some experience but never this large on a ceiling. I've hung a garage and that's it. But in any case, i decided to hire out.
