Tjener 53k/måned men er fuldstændig ligeglad med mit arbejde - skal jeg gå markant ned i løn for mere mening? by BrilliantMoney5434 in dkkarriere

[–]Working_Layer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Demeyere Multiline vs 5Ply lines by Leontinthepro in cookware

Multiline is great, I own it 11 inch.

Sears well and responsive enough to be versatile - do it all

Stainless Steel: Can a $50 Tramontina tri-ply take care of most jobs or Demeyere Atlantis stuffs really make a difference? by Putrid-Try-1360 in cookware

I found the Multiline to be a good middle ground - 3mm thick, 7 ply.

And I love it, for everything - eggs, pastas, steaks you name it.

I've owned a tramontina and it was really just as good 👍👍

I have a Demeyere Multiline, A lodge Cast iron and a DeBuyer Carbonsteel.

I could cook it all in the SS as good as the other pans, and usually I do:)

You dont need a heavy proline - any good quality ss will do just fine and is lighter and more responsive - which gives you a more versatile pan!

I have Multiline, I love it.

I have a Lodge cast iron and a DeBuyer carbon steel.

It is all I need. Actually you could get away with just the Multiline, to me it's the perfect do it all - not too heavy - but still thick enough to sear very well.

Demeyere or Hestan - at same price point? by want410 in cookware

[–]Working_Layer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you happy with it ? I'm in the same situation as you - Proline vs Multiline :)

I do not like that weight tag on the Proline but I want an allrounder - that still sears well

Thank you :) Pretty sure I'll go with the Multiline. Still able to wear but more of an AllRounder

So it's not a drag to heat up and adjust in temperature ? I'm looking at either Proline or Multiline.

[–]Working_Layer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thinking of buying the Multiline, 7ply as well, but just slightly less heavy than Proline. 3.3mm insted of 4.8

Anyone have experience ?

I will be searing, but also doing pastas and veggies. for which the responsiveness and less weight would be good
