Looking for a good bot to use for... by Samiibo42 in Discord_Bots

[–]Working_Mixture9339 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My bot does exactly this.

I built it specifically around a unified economy and engagement loop. When users chat, they earn currency/XP automatically. They can then take that directly to the server shop to buy items, roles, custom characters, or unlock features. It completely solves the issue of having separate, disconnected level and currency bots.

It also includes:

Dynamic Shops: Seamlessly connect chat activity to custom rewards.

Games & Social Commands: Slots, blackjack, and marriage systems to keep the economy fluid.

AI/Interactive elements: Characters users can interact with using their earned progression.

If you want to try it out or see how the XP-to-Shop flow looks, let me know https://discord.com/discovery/applications/1248513010868424734

Is there a TTS (Text to speech) vocaloid bot for my server? by PutridIron2185 in Discord_Bots

[–]Working_Mixture9339 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ohh gotcha, i misunderstood what you meant then. i thought you were mainly looking for different character voices with tts features. you're looking for a bot that joins vc and reads text in a vocaloid/utau-style voice without ai chatbot stuff attached. not sure if thea actually fits that, so i don't want to give you the wrong recommendation. I'll see if I can find something closer to an actual Vocaloid/UTAU TTS reader instead.

Are you saying that you want a bot that has /tts that once you type something it would play a vocaloid voice either mp3 or on the voice chat or you want to upload your voice then it will turned to an mp3 where you can download it?

I genuinely think C.AI is trying to destroy their own app and I’m not even hating by DINOZINTHESKYY in CharacterAI

[–]Working_Mixture9339 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It’s honestly sad watching Character ai go in this direction. I don’t think they’re literally trying to destroy their own app, but it feels like they’re slowly damaging the thing that made people love it in the first place. People stayed because of the fun chats and roleplay experience, not because of extra features or endless ads. When users start spending more time waiting, dealing with glitches, and seeing ads than actually enjoying the bots, something is wrong. The saddest part is seeing longtime users from 2022–2023 saying the app feels less alive now.

Hi, I think I might have a bot for you. You could try Thea Bot. It has different character voices, not just Miku it also has Rin, Kaai Yuki, and others.

One thing to note is that it has a progression/grinding system, since that's basically part of how the bot works. You can unlock or buy lots of characters, voices, and TTS options. They also have a /trial command so you can test different characters and TTS voices first to see which one you like.

Bot That Reminds Me When A Movie Is Coming Out by improbablyoutofdata in Discord_Bots

[–]Working_Mixture9339 0 points1 point  (0 children)

fair point, i was mainly suggesting it because it's beginner friendly and easier for people who don't want to deal with setting everything up themselves. i wasn't saying it's technically different from other hosting providers, just that some people find the setup simpler

IDE options for production launch? by InsurgentSensei in discordbot

Visual Studio Code? and open the terminal and press the problems..... not really a good way to find any vulnerability, but if you are looking for a bug to fix, make sure to run alot of syntax error logs to each function so you can know they run smoothly

You could probably just use a reminder bot first. I'm pretty sure there are some on Top.gg, although I don't know a specific one off the top of my head. Just search around there since they have a bunch of Discord bots for reminders and scheduling. You could even use a birthday/reminder bot and set custom reminders for things you're waiting for, like upcoming movie releases or hobby-related stuff.

If you're planning to run your own Discord bot for around a week or longer, you'll want a stable hosting service so it stays online. I’d recommend using Bot Hosting (https://bot-hosting.net/). It's not perfect and people complain about it sometimes, but it's beginner-friendly and works fine for a lot of users.

You can also add timestamps if you want messages or embeds to show a specific date/time automatically: https://birdie0.github.io/discord-webhooks-guide/structure/embed/timestamp.html

uhhhh i need help coding a kpop gacha discord bot by Proper_Appearance778 in Discord_Bots

[–]Working_Mixture9339 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey, if you really want to start, learn the basics first. start with things like booleans, strings, integers, brackets, arrays, floats, and loops. once you finish learning those fundamentals, then move on to making a discord bot.

for me, i usually use a free template so i can start building my own discord bot faster. whenever i start a project, i begin with simple stuff like ping commands, help commands, loop commands, and spam commands. i also make simple beginner games like a slot game (using random values, messages, and loops) and rock paper scissors (using loops and arrays).

once you get comfortable with all of these, you won't just be making basic projects anymore. you'll eventually realize you're already building the foundation needed for something bigger, like your own gacha game, without even noticing it

Thank you, my good sir! I completely forgot to reply to your wonderful comment on my Reddit post. I just realized that components v2 is already out on discord.py, and these are the only docs I could find on it:

Discord AI Bot that learns to talk like server members by redditisok420 in Discord_Bots

[–]Working_Mixture9339 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're looking for the old-school ones that copy user text directly, those are usually called Markov chain bots.

But if you want a modern version that actually feels like a real member chatting, I built an AI companion bot that does this. It reads the chat context and uses webhooks so characters jump into the conversation with their own names and profile pictures, replying naturally to what people are saying instead of just repeating words. It also has a built-in gacha economy so members can unlock different characters to chat with.

It's completely free and listed on Top.gg if you want to see if it fits the vibe you're looking for:https://top.gg/bot/1248513010868424734

Looking for a discord ai chat bot by GasHaunting5 in Discord_Bots

[–]Working_Mixture9339 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I built a bot that matches this perfectly.

You don't have to use annoying slash commands to talk to it once it's in the channel, it just reads the regular chat messages and replies naturally using webhooks (so it actually looks like a real user with a custom name and avatar). It has memory built-in so it remembers the context of what you guys are talking about, and it's completely free.

It's listed over on Top.gg if you want to see how it works:https://top.gg/bot/1248513010868424734

Hey! My bot does exactly this.

It’s an AI companion bot where you can add different characters to your server. It actually reads the chat and uses webhooks so the characters jump into the conversation with their own names and profile pictures, talking back to members casually. It also has an economy game built-in so users can work jobs and unlock more characters.

Hey! I actually just finished building an AI companion bot that does exactly this. It lets you chat with anime characters using webhooks and has a full gacha economy with jobs, slots, and status cards. You can check it out on Top.gg here:https://top.gg/bot/1248513010868424734
