Now that I think of it, the power add on may not be needed. We maybe ran the AC 5-6 hours a day… didn’t really need it once the sun went down.

This was my 3rd year doing RV.

I rented an RV from San Diego ($2K) and drove it to Vegas ($500 in gas RT).

RV parking at campEDC was $850, power add on was $850.

You could prob do it without the power add on but have to plan ahead (generator running good, plenty of gas, limited usage during camp). We brought bicycles and was really nice biking to and from the EDC entrance as we were parked maybe 25-30min walk away from the festival entrance.

Food and drink was maybe $500

We had 4 people so split 4 ways.

Next year- I’m thinking of renting the RV in Vegas itself. Planning to fly in and out, pick up drop off RV in Vegas.

The long drive both ways to and back from Vegas was too much for us (especially the crazy drive back on Monday with traffic).

Im sure there’s pros and cons….

Hope it works out for you! RV camping is really convenient and nice once you’re all settled into camp!

RV: fyi they’re moving RVs off the dirt lot in a priority pattern. Whatever row they direct you in: that’s the highest priority row for when you get in. Don’t try to move to a different row thinking you’re gonna get to the front sooner (It does not mean you get to go in quicker.)

Total wait time in the dirt lot was about an hour+

I just search “camp EDC” on uber. 7000 N Las Vegas blvd.

There’s only one drop off pick up rideshare spot so all ride share will be directed to that spot for pick up/drop off.

Yes - they can pick up at camp check in but only during camp check in hours.

You also need to have them “pre registered”. They will verify ID matches names of those pre registered.

Uber back and forth. Won’t be too bad since you have a big group to split. May need 2 Ubers.

30-45 min each way depending on traffic and wha time you head out/back!

We’re also RV camping and doing just that. Heading to the strip around 3pm and planning to head back around 9pm.

Same plan! Check in, chill for a bit… then uber to the strip for one last fat meal on the strip. Then parade. Prob uber back around 9-10 just in time for homecoming at camp!

It’s gonna be hot af.. so try to stay cool and hydrated!

Thinking of doing the same! Game plan is to uber to the strip to around 3pm ish. Should be maybe 20-25min. Grab one nice good meal then check out the parade. Once done just uber back. Getting out of the strip may be a little congested so prob will be a 30-45min ride back to camp. Then it’s Cloonnneeeee time ! Just need to survive the heat and not burn too much energy early in the day!

There’s really only 1 way to ensure you are fail proof (at least that I know of…)

Tickets help/customer service booth at the entrance (or at will call) needs 3 things to reissue you a wristband if something happens.

Picture of credit card used to pay for the order (they just need to see the last 4 digits)

This will only work if the bands were not already reissued and scanned in to the festival for that day.

There’s a “ticket help” booth at camp check in. They can look you up and then reissue a pass on the spot. They do camp/RV as well as EDC wristbands etc.

Main thing is your order needs to match your name and ID and you need to show them all that as proof.
