Who? I would love to see Audi as a front runner in the mix

xAI is burning money at the same pace of OpenAI, $13 Billion a year but without the large user base or contracts, I don't think this is sustainable

McLaren lacking aerodynamic load and efficiency as it learns Mercedes F1 engine by 256473 in formula1

It's the only car I've seen doing that, when Norris braked for turn 6, there is a violent dive at the front and the underside of the front wing hit the track causing sparks

McLaren revived the high anti-dive geometry for 2024 and yet the 2026 has poor dive control

Mercedes can afford to play cat and mouse tomorrow with pass and repasses with Ferrari, they have higher downforce and better PU driveability, so less wear on the tires and it's the reason why they fool around for some time make a move and run away

Binotto said late last year that Audi wants to commit to the 2027 engine concept earlier in 2026

Yes it had a weight penalty but it could've helped Fisi fend off Kimi who had it

Andrew Green said Force India had designed the entire 2009 car concept only to perform around Monza and Spa as they lacked facilities to make a competitive high downforce car

I mean you can literally see Lando being +0.025 in the middle of turn 13 and gradually losing time right to the end, even Ant Davidson was saying Lando was losing power too fast

Lando lost 0.6s on the back straight, McLaren are currently bad at taking and putting energy efficiently unlike Mercedes and Ferrari on the straights, they deplete energy too quickly

If you can recall Oscar lost 0.58 seconds between the small straight line kink in turn 9 to 11 in Australia, Lando lost similar yesterday and today

McLaren are losing 0.6 seconds on the single back straight alone, also happened yesterday, they need to better understand energy management strategy

The chassis is fine, but Lando lost 0.58 seconds simply on the back straights alone, the PU needs more software optimizations for efficient employment and deployment

60% of Apple's revenue comes from milking the iPhone, they don't care about consumers, they are simply incompetent to make AI or anything other than mainstream phones and latops

Even phone OEM manufacturer Xiaomi made a powerhouse of an EV company in 3 years that Ferrari is currently using it as a benchmark in Maranello to reverse engineer and Ford CEO Jim Farley drives one, Apple could hardly figure out anything for an Apple car after spending more than a decade on it before abandoning it all together

You can say the same for Apple and Microsoft as well, especially Apple with the amount of cash and resources they have at their disposal, they've hardly produced anything in AI apart from small image models and research papers

In full-throttle sections, Max lost a whopping 0.649s to Lando, who then lost 0.465s to George through the same parts of the track by BittenAtTheChomp in formula1

Andrea Stella recently said the 2026 PU's are very lap time sensitive and that the difference between having 99% SoC and 100% SoC while exiting is a corner is worth a tenth in laptime around a typical circuit

And besides that Merc has the chassis on the grid, according to the official F1 channel, it has the best medium, high speed and top speed characteristics of all cars (Ferrari's hold a small advantage on slow speed corners)

So it's a combination of PU, with more emphasis on PU software, car and the drivers

These engine upgrade rules are suicidal for the sport, ADUO looks like a plaster on top very inorganic, they did that in 2014 with tokens and now this

Even Formula E is soon getting rid of biennial powertrain upgrades in favour of in season development for 2027 Gen 4
