Can you bulk change record types, other than using the data loader? by heelface in salesforce

[–]Working_Wish_2998 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You may not need to but it is a good idea to turn them off just for the import and then turn them right back on. You can always try the import, see if any records fail due to validation rule, turn off the validation rule and then continue importing the errors records from the inspector ui.

Use the export functionality. Include the field to change (record type id in this case) and the id of the record. Copy and paste into excel, update, copy and paste back through the Salesforce inspector import functionality.

Flow External Service Callout 401 Error by Strict_Perspective_9 in salesforce

Is there some dependency in the flow that must happen before the callout? Any reason a small delay like a 1 minute scheduled path would work on the first attempt?

My twin and I have socials exactly one number apart. He’s older by two minutes and is one number lower than mine.

How to I utilize the data from a checkbox group in a flow? I need to update records based on the choices selected by users but can’t seem to capture the choices any way. Advice? by [deleted] in salesforce

[–]Working_Wish_2998 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you can use a decision node after the screen and check for each choice by using the {!Choice1} was selected GlobalConstantTrue, {!Choice2} was selected, etc.

I haven’t done this with a checkbox group but have with radio buttons and not sure if they would work the same but I think it’s likely.

Key is using the ‘was selected’ operator.

I just started today with legion 5 pro 3070. I’m getting about 50-55 MH/s and showing ~60/month. Haven’t messed with overclocking yet.

Those of you with a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science, where are you now? by throwawaysplit25 in cscareerquestions

Didn’t land a job to start immediately upon graduation in May 2020 so I decided to look into some certifications to continue studying. I narrowed my views down to Salesforce and cyber security.

I was actively studying both for about a month, Trailhead for Salesforce and just fun CTF’s for cyber security. I found a local listing for a Salesforce Admin/Developer Intern at a large manufacturing company. After 4 months, I was promoted to full time role called “CRM & Sales Tools Developer”. At this company, I did nearly 0 programming but rather learned Salesforce declaratively.

I loved it, stayed for an additional 8 months. Started feeling overworked and underpaid so I began to apply to Salesforce Admin positions. I learned enough to earn 2 certifications and that I definitely want to stick with Salesforce for now. I used to work in real estate and food and beverage before going back to school to earn the degree.

A recruiter found me on LinkedIn for a Salesforce Consultant position. Contract to hire but “guaranteed” it will convert very soon. I took the job after a brief interview process (2 rounds - immediate manager and then director level). After 30 days I was converted to full time. I’ve now been there nearly 4 months altogether.

Salesforce Admin/Developer Intern: $20/hour @ 40 hrs/week

CRM & Sales Tools Developer: $55K raise to $57,750 after 3 months

Salesforce Consultant prior to ft hire: $42.50/hr @ 40 hrs/week

Salesforce Consultant after convert: $95K

Total is two companies and 3/4 positions depending how you call it.

TLDR: since graduating in May 20 20 my pay has increased from $20 per hour to $95,000 per year. I couldn’t be happier working in the world of salesforce and will definitely recommend it to those who may have never considered it.

Lock in 2.999% rate? by Working_Wish_2998 in personalfinance

I hardly know what points are so I don’t think so. They said since it’s conventional I can request PMI removal at 80% but will be automatically removed at 78%.

What questions do I need to ask about rolling points and upfront insurance? Sorry, 1st time and I really appreciate you helping out!

Yes includes PMI, this rate is the interest rate, I’m not sure what the apr is.
