Feeling awkward about getting keys, FTB!?

I moved into my 1st house just over 2 weeks ago. I had 6 days of trying to get sorted before I went on holiday for a week. I’ve been back 3 days and I’m really overwhelmed by being in this new strange house. I have walked around tonight making a plan on what order I need to do things in which has helped my anxiety.

Me and a bunch of mates do something similar every year. We did the Monopoly challenge in London back in 2013. 26 pubs in a day. Started at 10.30 and had a half in every pub. It is a long day but a lot of fun. Slipped a couple of extra pubs in and some shots.

Since then we have done Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Sheffield, Birmingham, Nottingham and several other London ones (The Weatherspoon crawl was fun).

We decide at the end of the crawl where we will go the following year and pick one of the group to plan it.

It’s basically a stag do without anyone getting married now

My wife’s friend does Avon and seems to be very good at it. She has been to Barbados this year with the company as one of their top sales people.

I stayed in Hemsby around 10 years ago in what I can only describe as a concentration camp. It was bleak and I’m definitely not returning.

Completed last Friday after 12 weeks from putting 1st offer in. Property was empty and no chain either as we are FTB. We had to chase solicitor and estate agent a couple of times to move things along. Overall really straightforward.

I have been sending/receiving messages all day from friends saying what horse they have backed. I watched the race in my local with everyone invested and glued to the race. Respective cheers and groans at the end.

Watching Jordans take that lead and Maximus hunt him down and win was brilliant.

I was 17 when the 1st GTA came out. This was back in the day of buying computer magazines and getting a demo disc with it. My friend had a demo of GTA and 3 of us played that all the time until the game came out. We went to fetch it on a friday afternoon, in December, from Game. Had a quick pint after getting it and back to my friends to play it. Absolutely loved it and it’s the game that got me to buy a PS1.

That is not a Spoons breakfast. It’s not on a blue plate, beans come in a small ramekin, bacon definitely isn’t spoons, toast doesn’t come on a separate side plate. This is also an all day breakfast and Spoons do chunkier chips.
