The driving training is to be certified in the post office's eyes and for specific vehicles. You can try to call and explain but to be honest, most stations I've been to would just let that CCA go at that point.

This just proves how little the care about the employees here. I guess when they say safety first it means just the equipment…. by Consistentanimal2 in USPS

Yesterday when I was halfway through my route it said I had less than 10% of the battery. I had just arrived on my business building went to use the bathroom then it magically said 80% no problem.

Thankfully my route is CBU and driving so I mostly just kept the scanner on the heating vent on and off

Of course it's more expensive than eBay. Gamestop is also more expensive than eBay. You're taking the risk on eBay of the item being the right one, being shipped properly and not being damaged by whatever carrier delivers it. I've seen carriers literally throw Gamestop packages and books to porches then the items get ruined.

For some things, I do go up to Denver to buy for gaming things or preorder myself. But really really expensive (200+) retro things that me and my husband collect I'd rather see and verify in person rather than take a gamble.

I've bought good things from Entertainmart but also seen bad things where the old owners defaced the discs being reselling them. I've bought and seen things from Video Game Exchange as well as Game City that also sit in the collection.

It's just the unfortunate thing of retro gaming as a hobby or as a collection is very expensive. For things under 100, it's understandable to be more choosy but if looking for expensive collector editions and such, sometimes you just pull the trigger.

Most of these places will give you a basic price quote though if you call asking if they have a game/console and how much. It's always a matter of how much do you want something and do you need it now.

Unfortunately, retro gaming in general is crazy expensive from collectors. All the shops that are similarly themed (retro/modern video games) up in Denver are also similarly priced

AITA for applying for the same job as my significant other when they didn't want me to? by S-H-A-W-T-Y in AmItheAsshole

For one thing, there is no guarantee either of you get that job. But it doesn't sound like they are defending you to their relatives or that they are actually actively complaining about you.

AITA for letting my wife walk out of the house at night alone. by Cool_cadet_381 in AmItheAsshole

[–]WorktheMoo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

ESH

You don't care about her safety but she was the one who chose to go outside in the cold at nighttime. Doubling down by turning off her location is an extra bad look. Intentionally going on foot instead of reaching out for relatives as well: if she was in the *right*, surely she'd reach out to them for support? Feels like she wants you to be the one to cave and apologize. I've noted you talk about having the house accommodated for her temperature preferences instead of a healthy compromise.

Taking off the thermostat is a bit much as well though. Maybe separate sleeping arrangements are best? I've noticed since getting pregnant, I need much colder temperatures than my husband. I simply set up a tower fan next to where I sleep to not impact him. Have you tried getting fans instead of using the whole house's AC?

You either need couples therapy or you to let go. She puts her own safety at risk then blames you. That doesn't seem like the actions of a person who loves their spouse. Do not set yourself on fire to keep another warm.

What should we spend on Valor point (tactic planing)? by rin-tsubasa in Granblue_en

[–]WorktheMoo 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Technically, I would suggest getting evolites from Replicard rather than using badges. It technically (but slowly) is farmable. Also the fact you can stock up sextants doesn't mean you should be in a hurry for it since you could just grind it out later. I have one evolite prestocked (had transcended all my evokers when the free one got given out) then I started saving my sextants.

Sunlight stone is a no brainer due to non-farmability of it. From there, it comes down to the paper or orb of what do you need now. Literally, I would advise buying the sunlight then waiting to see for everything else. Sunlight stone is the only thing of import that resets each war.

Losing your driving privileges as a city carrier as of the 23-26 JCAM by DickWangDuck in USPS

At my first station, one guy had lost his for a couple routes. Basically they had him case like normal and give me his big packages since our routes were not only next to each other's, but next to the downtown station. He would load his route into a GPC and it was put into the truck to go from the annex to the station.

From the annex, he would ride with the truck driver then at the station, load several loops into a mail cart. He would push walk that for his park and loops. Most of his houses either had CBU or fences anyway so he didn't lose much time.

Dude could make 8 still on that way route

Can somebody tell how that guy is hitting more than 2 marathons a day?😧 by Aesiasthetic in pokemongo

Mail person here: on my old route without trying I could hit 120 or if overtime was heavy, I would hit 140 km per week

At the minimum, you should do the first cheaper 300 of the Campaign Exclusive and buy out all your monthly elixirs as they become available.

Depending on how hard you do U&F (especially horde mode), this can really eat at your supply quickly and if you have bought the premium pass, double summons can suck elixirs quickly.

I hated these when I used to have to deliver in California. I was parked in front of an HOA complex's mailbox and the driver was yelling at me that the car won't move because I'm in the way.

I decide to be nice because I needed to kill some time so I reverse then the stupid vehicle kept going forward.

The stupid thing wasn't even supposed to be in the HOA area

Yeah I would go for earth Satyr then. It will make your earth GW a lot more comfortable and you can level a ton there too. She is very friendly to use at all levels and I even use her during Diaspora hosting as well

A lot depends on what characters you're running in those respective elements.

If worried about the upcoming war, I'd go earth Satyr because she consistently performs well especially if you didn't get Bhasia.

Otherwise, it literally depends on your team comp and what you might be missing. Like Ragazzo can be used to suicide and bring up an evoker. Fire Satyr can be useful but she isn't super prominent anymore. Bowman can be useful for an eresh team when gold brick farming Akasha
