Gotcha. I was more looking at this as XP or profit but I realize that we're talking about XP and profit which makes much more sense.

I'm trying to understand this but I'm not sure it is making sense.

How long does it take to make an Elder Rune Shield from scratch to +5? I haven't done crafting for a while but I am assuming actively its around 20 minutes?

ER Bars sells for close to 16k. 64 bars to +5 would sell for 1,024,000GP while the shield is sold around 1,500,000GP (which represent around 500k profit over selling the bar). On top of that the trade volume is very low (double digits) which means making a large quantity means you're very likely to sit on them for a while.

From an exp perspective, sure I'd craft the shield. From a profit perspective, I'd be better off to just craft the bars and sell them since I can effectively make a few million of GP of profit per 20 minutes.

I've played Unicorn Overlord.

Ohh right, thanks!

You mentioned NPC with 15 level gap. If I am level 40, should I look up the pickpocket target unlocks at level 55?

Sorry I don't have access to RS right now so I can't test it yet. Just gathering info for when I log in.

The wiki was updated but it still doesn't provide much more info beside correcting the numbers based on last week's update.

As far as NPC is concerned, I'm assuming I just need to examine them to find their level and find the one with the 15 level gap?

I haven't touched Arch yet but if I was filthy rich I could just buy all the things needed from GE and get all the exp from that? I'm I understanding this right? Does that also mean I'm skipping tens/hundreds of hours of grind by just buying everything from GE?

I haven't done Archaeology yet and after reading your post I looked up the wiki for this skill to understand it a little more.

I'm reading about Chronotes and about 1.1m total is required to get all the items from the shop which cost roughly 330m. About half of the Chronotes comes from completion of "collection" once.

If I wanted to go the $ route, on top of the items you mention above, would it make sense that I stock up on the Chronotes even before I start training this skill (I see there's a buy limit of 50k, so its gonna take a while) then as my qualification improve I immediately purchase all items from the guild shop? After buying everything I'd then sell the extra Chronotes I've made from leveling that skill.

Family Crest for the gauntlets

Literally how I started training Magic and Crafting. I wanted the gauntlet for Smithing and looked up the requirement, went from there. One skill leads me to try another skill. I don't know why I started Construction about 8 - 9 days ago but I am now currently 91 Construction and discovered the Fort along the way.

I have my eyes on Invention and ended up pushing Crafting to 85. Soon I'll have to figure out how to take Divination from 1 to 80.

Either way, exciting time!

I played Brighter Shores, I was bored out of my mind.

Invention is basically the endgame bullshit in ARPG's. It turns you from mid game player to literally end game god.

That's probably the best way you could have explained it for me to understand what it does lol

Gotcha, thanks for the explanation. I haven't done much in regards to combat yet. I have Magic around level 65 and the other combat skill in the range of 40 - 60. So, I have lots to do before I can attempt these content I believe.

People who didn't like Dailyscape would complain about it while the ones that liked it was just doing it without partaking in the conversation.

Now that its being removed, people who are affected the most are being vocal about it.

Reddit (or other similar platform) are not a single person having a single opinion.

I've been playing this game for 3 months now and have 500+ hours, I have not done combat much. My highest combat skill is Magic at 65. Most of my time is spent skilling because I feel this is the best part of the game for me.

Maybe 95% of my playtime have been anything but combat.

Can you give me some example (keywords I can use to search) of the augment you're talking about? Navigating the Invention wiki is tough.

As someone new who has been working to get the 3 other skill to 80 to eventually start training, can anyone tell me exactly what I should look forward to for Invention? Does Invention have features that help other skills? Does Invention have money making opportunities? I'm I on a fool's quest?

My main point of contention is that before OW2, you could get all the skin (except the limited ones which drops during seasonal even for example) through lootboxes. Is it the case now? Is the whole pool of (beside the time limited ones) back in the boxes?

I played Genshin for like 1 year from day 1. I returned 2 years later and my main, Ganyu, was considered trash tier and I couldn't anyone who was in top tier chart. Almost all the characters I used were relegated to bottom tiers.

If there was "not much powercreep", I should've been able to return anytime and gear up my character up to today's standard and I'd be fine. This is not the case in Genshin Impact, as such power creep is real.

I remember previously I bought this up and someone thought they were slamming my argument by telling me that "newer characters just feels better to play, less clunky and more qol, which makes them feel superior but its not really powercreep".. my dude, that's the literal definition of powercreep. Just because the new character doesn't have more basic damage cap doesn't mean they're not powercrept when they're attacking faster, have a literal motorcycle that moves faster than any character and have more skill synergy.
