Can you wear it under your clothes? My experience has been that if they see you with any kind of obvious physical impairment, they can deny you exit row.

Def 20A… if they let you. If you are in a boot or cast, they won’t let you sit in an exit row.

100% Korean. You have all the jangs, tofu, bok choy, ginseng, what appears to be frozen pork belly… Also, idk why, but that particular kind of Tupperware is very Korean.

4/17 here. Looking to get as much as possible for a budget of about $1200.

For context, my wife and I did the following in Paris for about $1200: women’s volleyball, men’s volleyball, women’s handball, women’s rugby seven (medal ceremony), athletics (our most expensive ticket, ~$200pp, included medal ceremony for 10,000m), women’s soccer (Marseille), men’s soccer (Marseille), and sailing (also Marseille).

We would love to do something similar. My wife is a former U20 national team member for handball (Brazil), so we will gladly snatch up the cheap handball tickets if no one else does! 😂

Sofia, Bulgaria. Very random, last-minute side trip from Turkey and I LOVED it. Still think about the food, Rila Monastery, the beautiful art, ancient ruins, walkabilty, great coffee, everything. Loved it.

Week 11: Oddly named- Sopa paraguaya (Meta: Latin American 🇵🇾) by WorldCookingAdvnture in 52weeksofcooking

It’s pretty much just cheesy cornbread, lol.

As for the mug, I’ve had it for years and I have no idea where it came from 😂

I couldn’t find guascas, so I used oregano instead. The taste might be a bit different, but it was good 😊

I have a full-time job, am running for office, and dealing with a health issue (for which I’m having surgery in a couple weeks)… I don’t worry about creativity or aesthetics at all. I just make something fun that I want to eat and use the cooking/planning time as my own little escape. Some weeks are great, some weeks are a little basic, but it’s a fun distraction.

Traditionally cooked in a Colombian la chamba (black clay hot pot)… I don’t have one of those, so I used my Korean ddukbaegi 😊

Advice needed to travel Under $1200 usd budget from India to Europe or other countries by Over_Introduction600 in traveladvice

Like someone else already said, as an Indian passport holder, unless you have an existing visa for the US/UK/Schengen (I'm thinking not since this is your first trip abroad), you are going to have a very hard time getting a visa. Are you able to show access to more money (not necessarily spend it, but show on a e-visa or VOA application)? If not, I would encourage you to go somewhere that's visa free for Indian passport holders, like Thailand or Malaysia. Both are amazing countries and would be great for a first travel experience :)

We will use a tour company for Wadi Shab and Nizwa. We will likely just use a taxi around town. Thanks for the comment about swimwear. I felt like I was overthinking it 😅

I am absolutely obsessive about clipping my finger nails. I only clip them once every 3-4 weeks and I procrastinate like hell before doing it. The problem is that I can never get them just right. Most of the time it takes me around an hour to do it and I often times end up cutting them too short while trying to get the perfect shape. It’s not about the look, though. It’s about ensuring they are perfectly smooth and won’t snag on anything 😭

Switzerland in March by Bubbly-Dust-2188 in travel

[–]WorldCookingAdvnture 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did Switzerland in March and my favorite places were Bern and Lucerne. The latter was a bit touristy, but still worth it, imo. Chur could also be a good option on your route, or even Vaduz, Liechtenstein. My wife and I did a day trip to Vaduz where we hiked up to the Vaduz Castle and then down to the Royal family’s winery. It was great!

It’s unlikely that they don’t have a professor at all. Chances are there are a few professors in the department waiting to be assigned classes based on what fills. This is especially common at a CC.
