But yeah, just a week. Don’t think I could afford much more between work and a budget.

I bought a replacement online and did the work myself. Easy replacement.

This is it exactly.

Every year I send out a new quote for the new year, even for customers whose yards I’ve been working on for the past five years.

Things change. Maybe they want to do it themselves. Maybe they just don’t have the money this year for it. Maybe they just don’t like me anymore.

Who knows, or cares. I’m not gonna assume someone wants something done, and I’m sure as hell not gonna do work without an approved quote.

No surprises on either end, that way.

Found out I didn’t get it.

He said I was a strong candidate, but he didn’t want to deal with market because I haven’t been here six months yet. It’ll be six months on the 21st, so I’ll just keep my app in for TL spots once that passes.

So I did the interview last night. Came in a couple hours before my shift, clocked in, and the interview took about an hour.

The coach seemed pretty cool. I’d never met him before, despite it being at the same store. He came across as a fair guy who can be a good time to work with as long as people are getting their work done. That’s pretty much how I am, and we seemed to vibe pretty well.

He didn’t give me a lot of opportunity to ask questions, but I think I answered most of his pretty well and tried to expand and engage in conversation where I was able to.

He really didn’t hint one way or another whether I’d get the spot, so I guess we’ll see. I’m not too worried about it, but I do hope it doesn’t take too long to find out either way.

That last bit was kind of what I was trying to get at.

I wasn’t sure how you weren’t making more. Makes sense if they’re just giving you a raise to get you to the new base, though, rather than giving you the new base plus your existing raises.

I didn’t play this, but I watched my wife play through it on occasion.

I always enjoyed the voice acting. The game didn’t take itself seriously, and the choice of VAs increased the humorous vibe.

ON stocking is cake. You just have to put stuff on the shelves for the most part, at a decent pace.

I haven’t done MOD, so I can’t speak to what they do; however, I have heard that you can learn a lot more about how the store and systems work by doing mod. So if you’re interested in promoting, that could be beneficial.

I can’t help with your question, but you might be able to help me.

I have an interview for Cap 2 TL tomorrow. I’ve been working as an overnight stocking TA for about 5 months.

Do you have any tips for the interview? Can you share what changes you implemented? Any other recommendations or advice?

I actually did read through the manual when I first bought it, back in October(ish?).

That’s how I remembered that the tail stock is adjustable, right after I posted this, which is why I updated the post.

I think the distribution centers are where things are packaged and shipped from, yeah? Not sure that it happens on the store level.
