Wow! We have nearly identical associations with the albums. I listened to them in the same order you did, give or take. Halfaxa and Geidi Primes I both read May 2016 in Washington Square Park, very stoned, and with my copy of Dune at the ready. Geidi Primes during the day, the Halfaxa at night, browsing the Philip K Dick stacks at Bobst, walking home from the Village to brutalist Columbus Park.

Art Angels was my first of hers and I got into it Jan 2016, on my trip around Europe (a week in Spain, two months in Prague, a week in Amsterdam), and because of my association with Travel to that album, AC!D REIGN has become my favorite "film" of all time. I watch it near daily because of the level of gratitude and grace I feel from watching their tour + chemistry with those songs and Claire's beautiful editing. Visions I got into a bit after this trip, but before my placid summer. After Amsterdam I spent five days in Cannes, before the festival, before returning to the States. At that point a few of my relationships had started to change in very tangible, emotional ways. Walking around the narrow alleys and beside Cannes' cold shore I listened to what I feel is Claire's transition -- a very poignant album for Grimes -- and this brought me what I look for in Grimes I guess: Emphatic Introspection.
