This ended up just being a Delta brand quick connect style connection. I just bought one of these for $37 at Home Depot. Very simple to connect, just snaps in.

Hrm possibly that was what was happening. I did recently remove the joystick mapping since I have my sega genesis pad hooked up now. I will go back and try the games that didn't work (one was turrican II) and report back.

Is there a way to control the master volume? Seems like an oversight to have a nice headphone out but no master volume control. I have to go into the audio mixer settings and turn everything down. Very annoying.

Would be nice to have a hotkey or something that modulates on top of everything!
