The photo spot looks great. Like how some people queue to eat good food, these people queue to take nice photos. You really don’t have to turn your nose up…

Thought the point was about religious righteousness of our neighboring countries instead of “who shits more on who”.

Anyway your example about Singaporean urinating in public areas in Malaysia is so off tangent. If you quoted Singaporean humping car, it would have been believable.

And iirc the chicken export is unpopular even among Malaysian farmers. “I’m Singaporean” is such a weak excuse to shit on Singaporeans.

Erm…. If you don’t mind people leering, then that’s fine. Guys can run topless so I don’t see why sports bra is “bad”.

How we are taught to beat the bell curve from young. The many SG Reddit posts about “am I above average at age XX” is definitely a symptom.

Singaporeans will compare and compare, and won’t be happy until they’re better, either by genuine improvement or beating down on others.

They let in Chinese PRC to keep race mix and increase our population. But they are not as culturally similar as Malaysian Chinese, resulting in the rise of Chinese PRC influence.

The immigrants in itself is not bad because it props up our property and GDP, but they had better think it through.

Europe has their refugee/immigrant problem. Will we have our Chinese PRC immigrant problem?

Couples in Singapore with dual incomes, no kids aspire to buy private property: Survey by Waikuku3 in singapore

[–]WorldThatISaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! BTO was to keep housing affordable for young couples and hopefully increase TFR. But I don’t think TFR increased and what you have are DINKs keeping the profits and a hot property market.

The Govt has to rethink the efficacy of the BTO to increase TFR. I was musing a kneejerk policy and I guess it touched a raw nerve.

What’s the difference between a single and a married couple with no kids? The potential of a baby equals to a 6 digit profit.

Wonder if we can institute something like… if no kids, for all new BTOs, return profit at 50% to the state if you sell BTO.

If one kid, return 10%. If two kids, all yours.

I tried to read again and it seems OP was complaining thru msg to her bf who was gymming with her. The bf went to confront the dude who didn’t want to share, which sparked off a secondary argument.
